zen, 15 Feb 2011hi shannan, i've planned on doing that (returning the phone... moremy phone also is workin perfectly without any problems except the screen... but one or the other day we will get fed of the brown-purplish color in place of the greys. its better i get it changed at this early stage.
i want my phone to be perfect afterall ive spent 18k on it. if i get a replacement that is restartin i wil replace that as well untill i get a perfect one.

rpl, 15 Feb 2011update is available only through the PC. I just updated and... moreI also updated mine yesterday and I agree it now run smoother especially the switch from portrait to landscape and vice versa plus there is now a landscape dialler.
Also we had an upgrade in quick office: documents can now be edited.

AnonD-1225, 15 Feb 2011i bought my phone 15days back and i have the brownish-purpl... morehi shannan, i've planned on doing that (returning the phone) but mine is in perfect condition aside from the color banding.i'm just hesitant to return it as they might replace it with a more troublesome C7 (restarting, etc.) another thing, if i send it to ncc i'll have to wait a week or two. i'l just wait and see what happens as more people are complaining about this.i believe HTC had d same problem but after updating the fw, colors are perfect. try to google for it.please keep us updated after returning your phone. thanks.

Its better you update firmware,remember
dont disconect, or cancel the update opperation,Try to use spre sim card to avoide the calles receiving.
MOstly those peoples complaints the hanging or restarting the phone are those who instaled the unsighned currupt softwares or viruses,

Things i hate in nokia c7
1- Battery life is not on par with the best in business.
2- Gap on the display near the menu button which invites dust to com in side on display.
3-some times i feel ping or redish shade on display.
while as usual users have to compromise with the design ad some errors in OS, some are fixed in the latest update 1.1.

zen, 11 Feb 2011iv been using this phone for 3 months..i never had any prob... morei bought my phone 15days back and i have the brownish-purple screen defect. its a hardware issue. even if u update the firmware its not goin to come back to normal. it makes me feel like im using a china phone.. im not going to live with this defective screen.. i'll be visiting nokia care this weekend.. i want it exchanged!

i use c7 for 3 days now..it restarts 5 times per hour! i couldnt solve this hanging issue but i lost my trust in nokia products..i updated the firmware but the c7 still restarts! it sucks

my msg was not sent and was deferred temporarily. But cannot resend it nor can I delete it in my outbox. I even tried a soft reset ..How can i solve this problem pls help me
