harsha, 14 Feb 2011I feel this purple tint comes after age of display.. i have... morethanks 4 d reply harsha.anyway,mine isnt a patch or a line on d screen.its mor lyk color banding wherein dark grey is shown as purple but not rly noticeable..iv read lots of threads about newly bought n8 and c7 having dis issue.i thnk d 2nd batch has dis problem.its either nokia uses 2 types of amoled or its a software issue where nokia tweaked the light sensor to show dark colors a bit bringther.that is from wat iv read.

hi i just brought c7 2 weeks bak ..... i send a msg when i took the mob and due to sme network issue tat msg did not go and went to the outbox of the mobile .... then after tat also its gng frm outbox and also delte option is also not coming ... pls tell

guys how can i update the following items :
phone application update,apps update 1.0,nokia themes midnight,videos update on software update that can be found on tools..whenever i use wifi it always say update failed...can i use software updater or ovi suite with it???thanks!!

zen, 11 Feb 2011iv been using this phone for 3 months..i never had any prob... moreI feel this purple tint comes after age of display.. i have nokia 6070 model.. i observed this purple tint first time after using about 4yrs.. that time it was negligble, now(almost 1yr) it is big.. it disturbs me while reading sms.. i cant read sms line 1 last 5 letters...
So it grows as ur phone ages...

my c7 dont hv any restarting issue since date of purchase.n i lv it so much...i jst purchased it to gift it to my fiancee on valentine's day.

rab, 13 Feb 2011hi zen, the problem i bought my C7 from uae and im using i... moresorry to hear about your phone rab..mine was bought last November and for almost 3 months it has restarted only twice, the first time is due to my simcard not inserted properly and next restart was i think because of the slide to unlock app so i uninstalled it, and it never restarted again.my only problem is the purple tint issue with C7 and N8.i'm not really bothered by it though.hope you get yours fixed.

I had nokia c7 for 2 days, it hanged couple of times then stop for couple of hours. Then after it went off during a call and never start again. I returned to shop where i bought it but lost $50. I will never buy any nokia, I hate nokia.....

the problem i bought my C7 from uae and im using in lebanon and the nokia dosent have an int. guarranty.
i passed through nokia care lebanon and they updated it to the latest firmware but its still restarting at least 5 or 6 times a day and if its defective... around 400usd waisted.

I am observing a weird thing, after update to PR1.1, my phone is getting automatically restarted atleast couple of times a day..any idea why is it happening>, is it happenning to any one else...it was not the case with earlier version 1.0...

if u ask my opinion,we are waiting in hopelessness now that elop said that they will not invest further on develOping symbian.hope they could fulfill their promise..it's just annoying to think that now we have in our very own hands an OS that will become part of history..it;'s is both overwhelming and shameful to think...symbian is full of potential..tsk tsk
