Was considering buying this over the LG optimus one for christmas this year but i think i'll pass on a 300+ euro phone which breaks within a week.

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2010Bought the Nokia C7 on 25th November from big phone chain i... moreHi all,same happened to me,bought my C7 on 29th nov.On second day start having problem such as battery not lasting even for 5 hours after full charging,Slow touch screen,Auto power on/off,perfomance usability Failure and many more.From 30th Nov until now the phone is still in Nokia Care.I have been call Nokia Care everyday for follow-up n to know what is the status of the phone.They still replied me their Technician is ongoing on that & once complete they will call me....I bought it for RM 1,499 WITH EXTENDED Waranty of 3years.After bought it,the phone is not in my hand but in Nokia Care.Hope so Nokia will fixed it.Final question of me:How Nokia can relaese alot of C7 that having such many problem to the market?As per my knowledge before the phone is realaese to the market NOKIA should do and EVALUVATION on it before release it to the Market.How Nokia QC Approved it?Plz applogize me if and wording of me is Hurt anyone or make Disspointed anyone....Plz...Soory...&Thnx....

All the C7 buyers theres a Software update ready for this mobile,so go an check the sw update on your C7 an get this update installed,Allaboutsymbian as just put this news on its webpage,so hope it helps the C7 buyers out

look ,if you take picture with c7 less than 50cm it will look blur .If you take picture the more than 50cm it will look nice 'IN THE PHONE' if you put it into your pc it will look like 'SHIT'

Has anyone tried taking picture of text from very close distance (2-3in). Is it recognizable?
I know it a fixed focus camera.

Bought the Nokia C7 on 25th November from big phone chain in UK. It conked out on the morning of the 29th as I was on WiFi cehcking airports in UK. I was very happy with it until it worked, but am so disappointed that it had to die in just five days. It just will not switch on, will not charge. Just DEAD.
Nokia agents in country where I live are very helpful. They took the phone in without questions and checked, but could not make it work so they have to send it to NOKIA. Here is were I got disappointed cos Nokia does not authorise them to replace the phone in such case where it conked out in just 4 days. So noe I have to wait some weeks until they send it and get a reply. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH NOKIA!

C7 is very reliable, i have bought it before a six weeks, i liked it so much, it is somehow like i-phone 4G, if you are about to buy it, just have a look on Nokia N8 which has flash memory port beside the other features that most new mobiles have.

I think Nokia is under-pressured by other manufacturing companies out there releasing smartphone side by side. The increasing failure of nokia N8&C7 shows it. Don't bother to buy this unit while there is still many issues. They've released new units to cope for the competition but unluckily they've haven't tested it yet for a longer time, running into various test is a must. But now products a;ready released in the market have a small chance of survival. I've waited for this phone for a long time to be released but now having many issues with no answers makes me doubt. maybe I'll just wait for the next batch of factory release.

1. it will hang...(alot)
2. automatically restart.
3. automatic reboot will be more frequent.
4. it will freeze and die.
5. hard reset maybe helpful to revive it.
6. it will die for the second time...and for eternity.
:( sad but true... let's wait what will happen to yours.

the phone was great the touch screen was briliant,the web was fast,the camera good but when i put the pictures into the computer they look like shit maybe because of the fix focus.Well, after maybe almost two weeks ,the touch screen not so sensitive anymore must press the icon for few times,try to use ovi map it hangs then must take out the battery and put it back but now it restart by itself.The phone got so hot one time after calling for about 15 minutes but it ok within 2 minutes.And also the problem with this phone has no timer,metrik converter and also caller filtering.Hope nokia will improve this phone in future.
