saurabha26may, 07 Mar 2012True. Many apps which worked fine in Anna are not getting i... moreMany of the same apps sometimes get installed,& sometimes don't. I'm simply baffled...it's beyond my reasoning. I keep on trying from different sources & finally succeeded... but, I still call it a big pain.

My solution for most probs on my c7 is to power off, take out the battery for 10 seconds and turn it back on. Most things get sorted out that way!! lol

this morning I just did a restart of the phone. actually I kept it for 5 min off(forgot to switch it on) and the problem got solved by itself.
actually i didn't change a thing to the phone, nevertheless i'm happy its OK now :)

Ashman, 06 Mar 2012Guys, I feel Nokia Belle is not too friendly when it comes ... moreThats what i feel too from the comments i've heard though i havent shifted to Belle yet..on my Anna c7 i have some old S^3 apps and even some symbian 5th edition apps that run fine (they even have the double tap nuisance of symbian 5th :) )
but it seems Belle requires apps with specific compatibility requirements, its one of the things that put me off Belle for now.

After belle updation my c7 didnt open google map.... Anybady have an idea to run google map in belle... Pls help me... Thnks...

Guys, I feel Nokia Belle is not too friendly when it comes to installing apps... I cannot install the same app like Nokia Bubbles now after reinstalling Belle. Funny because I had installed it before... it used to work with Anna too and later with Belle. Belle is a good OS, but installing apps is sometimes a pain.

[deleted post]wolar, have you tried it from a pc?... install the latest Nokia Suite on your pc... connect the phone to the pc... open Nokia Suite and go to Tools ... software updates (or click the button on the menu bar from the home screen). now you can check if the new updates are available or not. hello to all,
in a two months experience with the phone I think I'm having the first problem with it. the dialing pad where just by typing parts of people's name would give you options is not working anymore. to call some one I have to open contact-->search and enter the name.
Does anyone encounter and if yes now how to solve it ???

I got a new feature update today via Nokia S... moreDear Ashman,
I too got the same update. It seems that the update is (agenda view server) for better synchronization with calendars (hope this is google calendar and others :-) ). This also has some bug fixes. Though not yet tried will keep you posted after use.
I have finally installed Battery Monitor 1.3 as the latest was not working.
Also, I have Home clock app installer (which now gives not trusted app error). I am not able to find 3d photo installer.

[deleted post]I have tried a couple of them but they all don't seem to work. I guess GadgetLover is right... it could be a Symbian^3 limitation. If anybody has tried and succeeded, please let us know. Thanks

[deleted post]I read somewhere that this is a limitation of S^3 software, it was possible on earlier symbian phones. I havent been able to find an app like that either on my c7.

i am using it since 1 year and absolute entertainment and no problem phone at affordable price "it rocks my life"
