Nokia c7 doesnot have autofocus camera which is a major deffect.

Since i bought this c7, am having many problems with software as video camera does not work and lately incoming call stops intermittently. I took to agent 4 times so far.Not usual Nokia high standard

that sounds great for your phone can survive till two days, I think.
Why my battery is very fast heating when Iam browsing fb, youtube??

i also use Battery Monitor 2.2 and it is saying that last charge was 1day and 2H ago. at moment I have 47% Battery life. yesterday I have sent some SMS and today also. Due to vacations I have checked quite a lot my mail through phone. So with this I think the phone will survive till tomorrow night. Also I had forgot Angry Bird in the background opened for nearly one hour until i got an SMS and saw it.
So two days with this type of use is quite good.

Nokia C7 is the best phone in all among the Nokia brands which are available between 15000 - 20000 INR.
I know most of the people really suffered/suffering with the processing time of C7 nokia phones. but with the latest OS Belle, C7 performance is good and connectivity and navigation are improved and now I can say Nokia did the best of what they can.

actually im enjoying the belle....
U k... moreRightly said Doc & saurabha26may... We always compare our phones to the new and latest ones... we tend to look at their specs sheet and go WoW!!!. however, C7 is a very capable phone... and can still take a lot of punishment... not it terms of physical abuse ... but rather in software upgrading terms... It more than meets our needs now.
With the updates and service packs, it will continue to surprise and please us.

This apart I want to say that I had a chance to use the NFC features of C7 and was surprised to find that sharing becomes very easy and fast with another NFC capable device. I also unlocked another level in the Angry Birds Magic game. Cheers!!!

I have Samsung Galaxy Tab as well how ever I gave it to my wife just because she can carry it in her purse I can not in my pocket though it is advanced than Nokia C7. :-) Rightly said by Dr. Bidhan any technology will get outdated in couple of days/weeks/months however that does not mean that just because it is outdated you need to feel pity about the users who has it......

U knw every day the new devices comming in the market, n we'll think that wud b better...in this way we can never b satisfied n enjoy wat v hav......we already hav gt 2 updates....im happy wid belle in my c7. Bt if it takes place wat ashman said then it wud b plus...otherwise it ok..

Well, it's not going to be 1.3Ghz, but maybe in the range of 800 - 850. That's the upgrade we are all waiting for. But I'm sure the overclocking is going to drain the battery faster.
As for the other updates, I'm sure C7 and the other older Symbian^3 devices can handle them well enough. 701 and C7 dont seem far apart when it comes to performance comparisson. You can check out the Youtube videos comparing the two devices.
While it's true that we recently got Belle update and the newer phones were shipped with Belle from the factory, the wait cannot be all that long... even the newer phones will be getting the update in 3 - 4 months time ... I'm sure our wait won't be much longer. Cheers!!!

so sad i feel pity on people who bought c7 recenty because nokia will update nokia 701 and others phones over the air with 1 ghz soon to 1.3 ghz and with better sound and video but c7 will not get it....

As a follow up to my earlier post, I think the 701/700 video capabilities will stay at 720p cos the GPU won't be any different..Still, its nice that the overall experience will be quicker on them. Future Belle updates will probably be too "heavy" for the C7. Makes Carla quite unlikely if we don't even get Belle FP1..

Looks like the C7/N8 will miss the party that the 701,700 and 603 are going to with the Belle FP1. I was kinda hoping they would release a service pack update for all Belle phones. Still its interesting..the newer Belle phones will get a more capable HTML5 browser and their processor bumped up to 1.3 GHz like the Nokia 808 PureView. Will they then be able to play 1080p video? And more excitingly, will they be able to record that? All said and done, an exciting next few months for them..Just sorry that we'll be missing the party :(

you are questioning about software which differs from one user to another. I can say from what I have been using. the screen is more usable as the icons and shortcuts are more manageable. you don't have fix rows in belle but can align the icons at your wish. the notification bar is very useful. you can switch very easy from one profile to another and even open or close WIFI and GPRS very easy. Screen sensitiveness is OK. Battery life depends on usage type. Due to nokia partnership with Windows 4 days ago I installed Microsoft Docs(something like that). you get Lync + Microsoft Docs to store in a cloud I guess.
I thing I found very good which is not in ANNA is the mail. in exchange serve of Belle when you create the widget in your screen you get a big box to check your inbox mail. Nr. of mail is limited and you get only the header but still you check some mail without even opening the mail itself.
