Symbian is not relevant in the smartphone game anymore. So, guess where is Symbian OS ending up? In the drain of course. Nokia is facing out Symbian in phases without choice to remain competitive and has chosen to work with Microsoft for windows7. So please don't argue for the sake of arguing. These are facts. Even the CEO of Nokia admitted their struggling with competitiion and market share in the high end smartphone level. Nokia has been in too entrenched in its own problem internally and has affected their own smartphone devt. In the end, they are outsoursing instead and decided on microsoft. So don't be native here. If you want to know Why Nokia has chosen to work with Microsoft, I would be happy to enlighten you too.

What is happening outside are the facts that people are turning into android and apple OS . These are the talk of the town and majority are purchasing these os base phones.
If Nokia wants to back in the business , it time for them to do something with their trademark (symbian) and stop coming out with such handphones that always have the same problem of hanging hanging hanging ,

also they are showing a new model by printing on panel as t mobile we have to think its a new model

I got a C7 last week and returning it today... issues with stability.. self-restart.. hanging.. etc...
Astound has the same specs of the C7 thus I imagine is just a US rebranding.

I really don't get the hate for Nokia on this website at all. I mean everytime I go into a Nokia discussion all I see is HATE HATE HATE from the Android trolls. Really?? Android?? That's like the most overrated OS ever. Yeah the UI looks pretty but the battery life sucks....And people talk about Nokia needs better software, which might be true. But people are forgetting is that without your hardware your software won't matter and vice versa
Who cares how pretty the UI looks on Android when your battery life is about to die out in hrs just to look cool. With a Nokia phone with Symbian 3, it can do anything that Android can do with 10x the battery life. I tried Android myself and all they have is a great web browser and a couple useless apps that aren't really important.

Just got the C7 version and must say that Symbian owns fragmented androids behind. I went from frustration (had a samsung android)to bliss. It just works! Battery life is much better and I don't have to DL apps for every little function I need. Also... Free Maps! Go Nokia!
