i got my e5 a few days ago (in malaysia, perak)
and it seems fine.. yes the camera takes time to start up and the alarm is kinda hard to find but overall, i think its an awesome phone.. zero regrets and all for the price of RM830.00.. and no wifi detection problem at all... i managed to get mine in white too.. awesome awesome phone.. literally switched from sony ericsson to nokia

Hi there. How's the screen of this phone when used outdoors? I read in the All About Symbian website that the E5's screen tends to wash out pretty badly under direct sunlight. Is this true?

Hi..i belong from India..this phone isnt launched here till date...im intrested in this...probably a good one.
I have 2 queries to all those who already have this:
1. Can I use the camera to make video call (in a 3G network ofcourse)? There is no secondary camera as such in this set.
2. Does the supplied earpice having buttons to next/prev/fwd/bwd/vol-up/vol-down etc?
3. How good the push mail service is? whats the frequency (time limit) i can set in this fone to check push mail? or do I need to refresh it manually rather than done automatically?
All NOKIA E5 owners...please answer

my friend even i had the camera freezing problem but not even once i had to restart the phone for that. just had to wait for 2-3 second and then everything is normal. wait for a new firmware and then everything will become alright. dont make the mistake of selling to buy some other phone. what you have in your hands now is an excellent phone.
