after reading reviews by Nokia E5-00 users on various websites,(too much reviews, actually) i bought mine 2 days ago..

nevermind the fixed-focus camera, always freezes while using camera, hangs after opening application (AP).

and now I can’t even start the phone! it’s a shame and a waste of money.

why bother buying a cheap phone if you cannot use it at all?

If its priced around 12K, is it that worth to buy?
No secondary camera too....Design little bit ugly.
Instead one can go for e71 only.
Or you can go for samsung omnia pro, you will also get touchscreen, secondary camera, qwerty.
        What say guys????

For 4 m0nts of l0ng wait, i finaly bought blakberry curve 8520. Actualy n0kia e5 is my first preference but becAuse it was n0t release by N0KIA it cAme to the p0int that i hav to quit n0kia. I'm very disap0inted with their failuRe of n0t releasing this ph0ne. Maybe s0me of d pe0ple here are also waiting. So mucH for dat, wel i'm fascinated with my blakbery 8520. I lyk the display, it's big c0mpared to n0kia e5's 2.36 screen..an0ther minus p0int f0r n0kia because i'm quitting as one of their fans! Next tym u hav to release ur f0nes on tym, that w0uld be a gud strategy nxt tym.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2010I like the nokia e5 but it seems that nokia doesn't do its ... moreThe features of this phone are stunning. Every day my excitement grows stronger. I can't wait to have this phone but unluckilly this is not yet available. The people here in gsmarena are excited too. I think most of these people are from the philippines right? Nokia must released this phone as soon as possible because many people are waiting for this. Even though i'm excited for this phone, i'm not closing my door to embrace Blackberry as an alternativue if this phone will not be released within this month. Go nokia before it's too late! Blackberry is now penetrating the business market here in the philippines.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2010I like the nokia e5 but it seems that nokia doesn't do its ... moreYou're right! Nokia is gradually losing their fans for not releasing their phones on exact time. That's the reason why their fans were stolen and shifting to other phone brands. I think nokia didn't prioritize the philippine market. Nokia should remember that the philippines is a big market and thousands of people are buying phones every now and then since the philippines is considered as the world's texting capital. Yes that's true! So my message to nokia, be ready for your downfall. Samsung and LG are invading the philippine market and grabbing your fans and share in the phone market.

I like the nokia e5 but it seems that nokia doesn't do its job again . The phone is not yet available here in the philippines. That's a big mistake for nokia! Because of that i will go for Blackberry bold. It's a big loss for nokia since many Filipinos are waiting for this phone. Nokia must release their devices on time before other brands imitate the features of their phones.

E5 offers good value and almost everything u will need to communicate. It holds world record for multitasking with 74 applications running simultaneosly with stock nokia firmware. Its 600 mhz processor allows decent performance in its class.
