does this phone allow the use of video calling through the main camera i.e. the 5 mega pixels one? if it doesn't, then it would rather be better to buy C6 because it allows video calls and wi-fi use both with a bigger screen and comfortable qwerty keypad.

[deleted post]so i want to ask you, for what purpose of those handset..
gemini overall spec under E5 but it has BBM, nice OS and feature, nice build design and trackpad.. so, gemini better than E5 in term of design..
E5 has everything better in every aspect except design and feature.. but in hardware E5 win..
the major different in these 2 phone just BBM, if you really need that feature better u go for gemini.. if you just can handle it with just WLM,YM rather than use BBM better you go for E5...

Major Diff...Nokia E72 & E5.....
E72:-- Build with Secondary camera for Video calling
E5 :-- NO Secondary camera for Video calling..So Bad..

I have used this nokia for two weeks now.Everything very okay. I wish to assure all readers, those who are comparing e5 and e63, they are just kidding, They cant compare at all. E5 is a very sleek phone and compact compared to e63 which is a very poor eseries, actually e63 is the worst of them all. E72 leads followed by E5 though they are more or less equal

after read so many comments here, i come with conclusion:
E5
+ super clean sound quality
+ excellent under sunlight
+ excellent battery and can last about 2 days without charging with heavy duty user
+ for its price, procie and RAM seems higher so can be compared with E72
+ comfortable keyboard and good build quality even using plastic
+ best performance and rich of features for just cheap price
+ strong LED camera even without dual LED
- just 256K color compared with E72 with 16M [this is the first E series without 16M TFT]
- memory not hotswapable
- ugly design if compared with other E series
- just have EDF camera and thats not as good as autofocus
- OVI maps = slow, use Garmin
- no video call

all these days after buying the handset since 31st of july i had only good commments posted.
now since 2 days i can see a strange behaviour with the camera of this phone, its getting stuck and i always have to do a soft reset to make it ok.
did anyone else face this same problem??? please let me know, since i love this mobile.

quality really diff from E72 but i compare to the price it suite to E5.

And also speaker is of very low sound in e71 and e72.
One more thing, there's no embedded secondary camera in e5.

IN REPLY TO THE QUESTIONNAIRES:::
1. Auto focus is better than fixed one. But this e5 has powerful lens and flash(if u gonna buy this)
2.No optical pad.
3.Under 12k, u wont meet your requirements in nokia, but if u gotta shell out another 600 bugd, u can go for outdated nokia e71.

BTW, e5 is a powerful handset.
1.If you comare this with e71, it has advantages like much powerful camera.
2.Loud and clear sound.
3.Feature pack 2(upnp, dlna tec.,)
4.Much higher procie.
5.Almost or even more battery backup.

Comparing this with e72,
1. Even here it wins over the camera.
Rest all is same.
The only drawback is that, e5 has got a ugly design.
