I know most Indian like me are desperately awaiting for this phone. Does anyone have any info about when this phone will be available in Indian stores? Thank you!

I have got both E72 and the E5, and here is my opinion about their comparison.
E72 looks gorgeous but E5 is not that bad either and looks and feels very good in hand. I have black E5 and Metal grey E72 btw.
The music player is almost same, and I 've not felt much difference. Camera on E72 is definitely better for its auto focus capability.
Email handling feels better on E5 somehow, because scrolling mails always felt laggy on E72. SMS capabilities are the same.
The big difference is the new software on E5, with features like contacts bar, face book integration of contacts. The facebook app is also better on E5.
Other features are almost same.
So make up your own minds....If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to answer.

plastic is great to choose in all E models why :
because
you need to be safe ( HOT ) device !
+
after 1 - 2 hour use of metal device = pain to your ear and you feel it is paining from magnatic + magnet can drop and metal items to it !!
it is very dangerous !
you need to search fro plastic phones better to you
in weight and in magnetic use !
look for your health !!
go for plastic phones

as i mentioned before fixed focus camera will not be good compared to autofocus camera.
so e72 has got better camera.
sound quality is very good in e5 but worse in e72.

please can someone tell me how come e5 having a 1200mah battery can give a talk time of 12hrs 30 mins, similar to that of e72 which has a 1500mah battery??? i want a phone with maximum juice in it and i'm confused between e72 and e5
and secondly does it really have a microsoft office editor, i really need that feature in my phone. other websites are posting it as having only a document viewer. plz help

Excellent phone, the only problem I had was that Ovi Maps was slow to find satellites. Now I have both Garmin and Sygic on my phone, and they find satellites within seconds... :D So I would say its a software error and not hardware (luckily)

x6 has got autofocus camera
decide yourself whether you need an autofocus camera phone or fixed focus.

E5 is just like E72. :) They're almost the same.

people, i bought it and it's doing well, after 2 days i can say:
excellent battery
good camera
very solid
excelent sound and loud, very little distortion at max. level
very good sound quality in a call
exactly as my expectations on the speed with symbian, i had 4 symbian smartphones by now and this is the fastes, no lags at all, even if i have an 8 gb card and 3 gb free memory on it
the only bad thing is that i have to wait aprox. 3 min to connect to the satelites and, when i use the voice navigation, even more
for east europe, the ovi maps are not that detalied, so i'm tinking about installing garmin or something else.

The earphone quality is very good, really. I can hear the person soooo close to me.
This model has the volume buttons on the side, which is very useful.
My main problem is that I cannon configurate all the stuff in a theme (I don;t use Wifi and I don't want it to appear in my stand-by screen - I can't change that.). And also, I don't likw the sturt-up tone - I can't disable it. I used a 7210 and I could disable the start-up tone. With 3G calls, internet and Sms - my battery holds for about 72 hours. My old 7210 managed only about 36 hours. So I think this one's very good.

I wonder why people brand this phone 'plasticky' and I ask how many manufacturers really use steel on their phones, including blackberry. To me, E63 looks more 'plasticky' than E5 because this looks more polished, solid and shining. I have seen the white color which I think is beautiful, but I have the black. If u want a serious, cheap matured phone, go for this and u won't regret.
