The earphone quality is very good, really. I can hear the person soooo close to me.
This model has the volume buttons on the side, which is very useful.
My main problem is that I cannon configurate all the stuff in a theme (I don;t use Wifi and I don't want it to appear in my stand-by screen - I can't change that.). And also, I don't likw the sturt-up tone - I can't disable it. I used a 7210 and I could disable the start-up tone. With 3G calls, internet and Sms - my battery holds for about 72 hours. My old 7210 managed only about 36 hours. So I think this one's very good.

I wonder why people brand this phone 'plasticky' and I ask how many manufacturers really use steel on their phones, including blackberry. To me, E63 looks more 'plasticky' than E5 because this looks more polished, solid and shining. I have seen the white color which I think is beautiful, but I have the black. If u want a serious, cheap matured phone, go for this and u won't regret.

no built in accelerommeter.
memory card not hotswappable.
no front cam for video calls-reminds me of 6233 a 3g phone without front cam.
excellent build quality though plasticky.
256 mb ram.
excellent battery back up easily ranks among the best.
speaker quality is good.
cam flash is powerful.
memory card support upto 32gb.
qwerty keypad is smooth.

And mates, I used this mobile heavily like I use edge,wifi,calls,sms,music and camera and great to tell that I got a back up of 2 days.
And to tell you all, E-series never lets you down.
And one more thing, there's no coc editor, gonna purchase it soon.

wat is this free nokia maps,i really didnt get this i have this phone whenever i try to use navigation feature or maps,this gps sucks my credit,i'm in dubai,my request to all of is there anyother way to use this service may be i'm using it in awrong way ,plsss i need help regarding this gps and ovi maps

A review by professional standars is supposed to clarify all queries regarding the phone. Now what does GSMarena means "and the battery lasts quite a while between charges" how many hours or days nothing is given. Further 38hrs of music playback is not 2.5 days!! Now does this mobile has any notification light? GSM better put more efforts while making a review as all these little things matters a lot when we buy a phone and be more specific and dont generalise.Quite disappointede with this type of review

no secondary camera on E5.it has only light sensor at the top of screen.again big blunder by NOKIA.PLEASE NOKIA wake up!why are u making such silly mistakes.leaving this the phone is best.

I have been using e5 for 3 days now & believe me this set is worth a purchase
1) Excellent built quality
2) Excellent sunlight legibilty
3) Display is awesome (256k is amazingly bright & clear)
4) speaker is quite loud for ringtones
5) Camera is good in day light & ok in indoor

Awesome mobile. My e71 nokia is nothing in front of this. Great mobile by nokia. cheers!!! Guys do rate it high.

Cool and best handset. Its gonna eat any brands qwerty mobiles..... My god!!! feeling very proud to have this one in my hand. Never I have seen such a mobile. it would have been even better had nokia embedded a secondary camera in this.
