GSMArena didnt include the info abt e5's ram.. Maybe they think that it is no longer important because its just another nokia phone. Look at c6, ram's info is n0t available there too. Wish GSMA would welcome nokia phones like they what they do with Apple's...

hi frnds this cell fone is so bogus. i bought it in the morning and immediately sold it for two reasons...its video recording gets hanged while u r making video and 2nd sometimes when u open the gallery it just freezes there and u have to wait for 5 mints to see the gallery opening.
i give it 3/10.
go foe E72 if u want to purchase E5. E72 is 100000000000000000000000000000 times better than this piece of crap

sting using the nokia e5 and I assure u its an excellent phone for both social and business functions. It fills compact on the hand. The small camera lyk hole at the top of the screen is a light sensor and not a front camera. I rate it 9.5/10. Thanks to nokia

To answer your questions, people, YES you can view Office Word, Powerpoint and Excel in this, and PDF files too. You can create a basic document for all, you can't add animations to the slides if you are doing in via the phone.
Also, my advice to you all, why bother so much about the camera? I don't know about you, but to me, E5 is a phone, it does what it does, camera is a mere secondary add on, if all you care for is the camera, then my advice: Get a cheap decent phone and invest the rest on a digicam or a DSLR. Easy. Just my 5 cents.

nokia e5 ram: 256
nokia e 5 it has better processor and ram than any other nokia device, except n900 that it has the same ram as e5(256 mb ram and 600 mhz processor)

Guys, if u dont mind for plasticy body, go for E5. less in prices. One more, 65k color display with 320 x 240 pixels just enough to see a pictures. Low display color, need less battery power, thats why, the battery can last longer, unless using low battery spec. Its the cheapest nokia ESeries phone currently.

I don't know about the others here, but I can immediately tell the difference between a 65k, 262k and 16 million colors phone display. I've used so many different brands of mobile phones over the years and some 65k and 262k phone displays look pixellated, although the 65k display of the BlackBerry is an exception.
I'm currently using a Nokia E63 and is currently waiting for the E5 one to officially come out here in my country. It has great features, and I'm curious about its 5-mp camera. Been reading various reviews about it, but I won't really know what it's like unless I've used it myself.
