Before this, I had used E71 and E72. Apart from steel body, I dont think there is anything wrong with E5. 600 Mhz processor, 250mb memory, upgraded software version, flash light, 5mp camera, etc. What else do u guys want in this price ???? Ok i agree that there is 30ms delay when entering a phone number, but what is the issue with web brower ???? Battery is smaller than that of E71 and E72 in specs, but has more standby and talk time. It gave me a full 3 days with heavy usage.
Come on guys ........ Whats wrong .... I think first time Nokia has offered a good features phone in affordable price. Till date I haven't come across any software issue in the phone. Unlike E72, where my space bar key stopped working after every 5 hours.
I will definately give this phone 9 out of 10.

and the next u say e5 makes u happy, u r seriously having some problem.
if these below are the prons of the handset then i would say its worth giving rating 8 out of 10.

Well, E5 is a very good phone to begin with. It lacks a few minor features and good design. Yes, the phone doesn't look really nice when you're holding it wearing a business suit. It has a plastic feeling to it. The volume buttons are a pain to press as well as opening the battery cover. There's no hot-swap for memory card, which means you'll have to remove the battery every time you wanna change memory card. The speaker volume is so maximized, that when you play a calm track, you can hear unwanted high hiss in the background. Try typing a phone number quickly, there's about a 30ms delay. The web browser is a bit sluggish. I will not comment about the camera as its a business phone and I had no expectations in that section.
Aside from the above points, the phone is perfect to use, I just bought mine for AED 980. I had to sell my E71 to get the E5. Now I think it wasn't worth it...
What makes me happy?
E5 has better signal reception than E71. A few extra convenient features than E71. Cheap at price and light weight.
I will give it a 6 out of 10.

-No secondary ca... moreThe display is not very bad. You simply CANNOT tell the difference between 256k and 16m colours. Blackberries have had 320x240 64k colour screens since the start of time (88, 83, 85, 82, 93 and 87 series). Even the 9700 and 9000 have 64k colours.
Who cares seriously about the camera flash?? It's a messaging phone.

Pls all y'all who've used this fone, does it ve carl zeiss, hws d picture quality? And how long does the battery last with heavy usage.. .. And in this fone and c6 which is a better choice?....

Symbian again!!! If it weren't for that, I'd gladly buy this phone. I think the Samsung B7350 Omnia Pro 4 might be a better choice than this phone. The E5 has nothin goin for it except free navigation to be honest.

many features missing in E5, that's why the price is cheap. How come people can accept the cut cost phone like this.Do you buy a brand or the things? If the price little bit below than E72, better go for E72. buy E5, u get half, buy E72 u will get full. which one u like?

1.Free navigation (for people who move around a lot like me, this could be a deal breaker).
2.Qwerty keypad (personal preference, I don't like touchscreens...... I'm sure there'll be others out there like me)
For people like me whose primary needs are listening to music, surfing the internet, sending a lot of smses and emails and navigation, this device fits the bill perfectly at a reasonable cost. And I care a rat's a** that it doesn't look "expensive". It serves the function I need it to, and that's more than enough for me.
The only thing i find missing in the device is a hot-swappable memory card (interestingly enough, they have that in Nokia C3. wonder why they couldn't have it in E5 too).

OMG!!! still people buying crap nokia phones!! Look at samsung. It provides android with atleast 650Mhz procie,capacitive screens, swype technology, divx,xvid support, doc editor, sec camera(3g,3.5g,4g).
What not?????? All at affordable prices like price starts from 9000 INR(ex, samsung galaxy 5 etc etc...)
Nokia, eats money of people.
Come on guys, open your eyes.
