-No secondary ca... more256k color display is not bad at all bcoz 16m color display is more brighter thats it.
single speaker is loud enough, better than e72
single led flash is powerful enough.

got my E5 for 12k. pretty good phone.
as i cant afford black blackberry i decided to go for thi8s qwerty E5. nd i am very much happy with this set.looks good like i desire.got the looks . cam is 5 pixl. got the whole look of bb qwert like phone.
i am aware that it's not like black berry in features.. i agree but im not a businessman . i want a good qwerty budget handset from nokia.
have it and u will feel good about it.

Hi
I'am thinking of buying the E5 but wae wondering what the handsfree on the loudspeaker is like.Would you be able to use it in a car to take calls.
At the moment I'am using a Nokia N95 8gb.The loudspeaker on handsfree on it is excellent.
Can some please advise.?

Just bought the E5 yesterday. Is there anyone else out there that has come across a white patch at top middle edge of the screen that when there is a word that appears over it, the word is partially faded. Is this an inherent thing with this model or have i bought a 'dud'? pls give feedback.

I bought this phone on Tuesday (10 August) and so far, I love it. Sure, design wise it looks cheap, and some find it a little unpleasing to the eyes, but is that what people do with their phone? The phone feels solid, to be honest.
I enjoy using this phone, for the price paid, sure you can't compare it to a E71 and E72, but because you aren't supposed to.
Really, if you consider getting a QWERTY phone, this phone is worth considering.

i've been using e5 for more than a week. up till now, no prob at all. definitely able to compare with e72.. those who used e72 but DID NOT tried using e5 at all, pls dont give negative feedbacks about e5.nothing in this world can please everybody. if u don't have any prob with e72, that is fine. doesn't mean others doesn't have any too.

You cannot possibly see the difference on a 2.4" screen. Did you know that Blackberry's QWERTY-bar leading screens have only ever had 65k colours and that they are nearly indistinguishable on that point?

The phone ships with a normal nokia charger, an E-series handsfree and a data cable, but no carrying case :(
My first impression when I opened the box was "Wooooooow". The back cover is of steel, while the front cover is of plastic (but looks like solid steel). From no-where this phone looks cheap.
The display of 256k is great.
600Mhz Processor
Great battery life
No software issues till date.
Sound quality is good.
Loudspeaker is indeed LOUD.
5mp camera is good (auto focus option is slightly better than fixed focus).
The phone is really fast.
Flash light is very bright.
Keypad is very comfortable.
Many new features added in this software version.
Decently priced
Supports 32gb
...... Overall ...... Best phone by Nokia in this price ..

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2010To those who want to get this phone, go ahead, its your mon... moreJust for ur info, I have purchased E72 three times. Thrice I got the same software issue, where the space bar key stops working. I had to restart my E72 everytime. This was indeed a nuisance for me!
But this doesnt mean that E72 is a bad choice. Overall I liked E72 (apart from software issues). I live in Pakistan (KHI) and brought E5 for Rs.21300/- & E72 costs around Rs.27500/- ... For what should I pay Rs.6200/- extra ??????????? Only for steel body or for 16m colors ?????? Once you get E5 in ur hand, u will definately get impressed by the feel and looks. And as I mentioned before, naked eye cannot catch the difference b/w 16m colors & 256k. 16m colors just consume more battery, Further, both E5 & E72 has 600 MHz processor. Both have flash lights. But here are a couple of differences. E72 support 16gb memory card, while E5 supports 32gb. And E5's battery is 300mAh smaller than that of E72, but my friend, just check out the results, it gives more standby and talk time than E72 ...
Well this is just my opinion, but u guys wont regret buying this phone. The good thing is that this phone is not heavily priced ....... Great Job NoKia ......

To those who want to get this phone, go ahead, its your money. but dont ever give a comment to compare with high spec phone like E72. Its not fair at all. Sure, those who are negative comments on E72 actually never have E72 instead. Owner of E72, surely wont regret with their phone. As far as I use E72, no problem at all, thanks to nokia for produce E72 with high spec.

my humble request to all my friends, this phone is an excellent one with less price and more features.
