i have a carkit for the 6310i and i want to get an e50, does anybody if the e50 can be used in a 6310i carkit???

It's very nice phone
but instead of joystick nokia should have opted for five way navigational key, 16 m resolution , preloaded opera browser& 2 megapixel camera

hello nokia users,thz fone is really great.It has everything from camera to mp3 songs.It has 70mb built in which is very rarely for nokia fone to give us.Keep it up nokia......

I've been using E50 for more than 2 minths now. The only thing I just don't like about it is battery life. I have to charge every other day, even if I don't use the phone at all. No hangs, no auto answer problem, the small font is not so bothering and there is also a solution for that. It's a bit slow which is ok for a symbian phone.

u can solve it with d nearest customer care, they solve d problem from hanging n can change ur font stlye make it bigger. gr8 advantage is u can add 3rd party software as u lik but not in 6300

nokia 6300 is slim n handy, but lacks features, u can add any software etc to it.. its symbian s40 series but e50 is symbian s60 tat too 3rd edition n equivalent too n73,n80.. y spending much on 6300,

All the Eseries have the some problem: they tend to hurt their users due to the fact that they pick up the ear`s hair.

I encountered 3 problems with my E50 (black, with camera). 1. The phone would at times answer a call on its own, go into speaker mode and then hang. The only remedy was to remove the battery & re-boot. This problem has been resolved by the Nokia service centre. 2. The phone just does not connect to the PC in Auto-Synch mode. 3. The # key is supposed to activate the silent mode but instead it goes to the option of second phone line.

hey guys come on , the 6300 is out and i think its time u guys said bye bye to the nokia e50 . unless nokia comes out with a new software , i love the look of this phone ,specially the black i think its much better looking than the6300 , i dont care much about the camera a 1.3 is fine , the main problem with the e50 is that its font is ttoooooooo tiny , it hangs a lot and it goes to speaker phone automaticly while in a call , and the only way to end the call is to take out the batt - this sucks man , so am going to get a 6300 tmrw , but in my heart i really do wish nokia had come out with a better software for the e50 .. my choices were - e50, 6233, and 6300 , am going to get the 6300 . cheers -

Can anyone tell me how 2 make the menu looks bigger??? coz its 2 small 4 me, d rest is great, sounds, color, application, ......etc

Hi,
I have been using the E-50 for the past three weeks. The phone is good, but i have been disappointed on two counts.
1. The battery life is much less than claimed.
2. The software problems of nokia continue. I have had the phone hanging on two occasions already.

E-50 is the one of the best phone after 6310i. Its good without Camera version , I had E-50 with camera earlier but Then sale it after 2 days, Just because of its camera eating battery. Nokia should bundle the package with BL-6c battery , BL-5c is giving lest talk time.
Its software is also a bit slow. use to hand while sending messages to a group.
Otherwise its Classic and Business Class handset with lack of just battery/software problem.

Rightt this fone is an all out brilliant fone....
comparing it to the 6300-
its symbian :), has 70MB(more or less) internal memory whereas the 6300 has 7.8 MB,
The plus points tht i see in the 6300 compared to this fone wud be its slimmer 2 meg cam and very very very bright screen!
but still my vote goes for the e50, coz its sybmian,more stylish,in my veiw has has greater functionality! i agree that the camera isnt good, but then if u need a good camera thn buy an SLR!
