i cant find how to set unlock when in thbury cradle in my old nokia i could lock phone then put in cradle and it would auto unlock so i could use without taking from cradle someone at nokia said i could not do this with e51 any help out their thanks

E51 is a great phone. I m using this phone from 5 months and i dont hav any problem with it. The only bad thing is that its camera is not good, just 2 MP.

I've been doing research on my next cell phone for the last two months and decided- and just bought- this Nokia E51. I have T-mobile and although their service is great, their phones are boring! So that's why I wanted this unlocked smart phone.
PROS: Sleek design with abundance of features. There are so many things I like about this phone so I'll just mention the cons.
CONS: Volume buttons on the side are pretty much useless; limited volume control. The CD included is not readable on a Mac (OS 10.4). The camera is mediocre and when you save your personalized wallpaper (240x320px), it doesn't cover the entire screen so you have to use hues from the themes. You'll end up with a 240x275+- wallpaper.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this phone despite me only having it for only a week. I'm sure I'll figure out more features as I use the phone more.

I have my E51 for a month now. I did a firmware upgrade last week. Al of a sudden navigation has gotten slower. It freezes and gives issues with installing a download.
Can someone please advise?

Hi everyone out there. Have anyone tried exporting sms from "My folder" into the computer drive using connectivity cable and is able to view all the sms from "My Folder" later on. Please help.

I too have a nokia E51 for 1 year on 29th december 08. It is now 8th January 08 and it has decided not to turn on properly and is usless. It comes on with a very faint light and thats it. Sometimes it even turns off again. How frustrating it is when you rely on them so much and they cost so much to purchase and they only last a year. I just hope nokia do it under warranty as i have seen on another site where this is a problem with this particualr phone. Hope all your phones last longer than mine did.

SIMANGA, 05 Jan 2009hi my dad bot the nokia e51 and didnt know how to use it ... moreIf you took it for repair they should have upgraded the software for you, you have a 24 month warranty with all UK nokia handsets, upgrading via pc suite doesn't delete the previous software version so go to a nokia care point or NCP as they are known.

Hi, I am Rajkhumar, one the great fan of E51. None of the mobile phone cannot beat E51 in price, performance and appearence. I am having more that 60 softwares installed in the phone everything is working fine. You can download the STOP WATCH software in below link:

Use the PC Suite software so that it would be installed easily.
Note: I have bought this phone for Rupees 8000, please suggest whether it is good price, WITHOUT BOX BUT UNUSED(NEW).

i had my nokia e51 for almost a year now, and it was worth the buy indeed.. with its multiple functionalities that has helped me as a student (still..lol) including the wifi capability and pocket office suite.. but i guess, i need a new phone that is still within my budget.. if anyone of you can please suggest a phone (esp. nokia and SE) that is almost equivalent in features with the e51, but is within its price range.. it would be highly, highly appreciated.. ;)
nonetheless, giving up my e51 is such a hard thing to do--it has everything that i'm looking for, except of course a new one.. lolz.. thanks in advance everyone! Happy new year to all!
