Amy, 29 Aug 2008Hi,I got my Nokia E51 recently, I really like it.but I thin... moreHi amy u can't see the snaps which u taken from your cell its very simple u can transfer your snaps through data cable but b4 that install the software in your pc u got a cd and data cable in your e51 box if u r in hurry copy or mark your snaps from phone memory and paste in your memory card take out memory card and u got card reader if u dnt have get it windows xp will automtically accept it nw u can see your snaps ok bye

Winura, 29 Aug 2008are you sure you didn't install any applications before you... moreHi! I used before N70 and it was ok. I didn't even conect the phone to computer. Just used it for making calls and texting... I really don't know what is going on. It's so annoying!

Eighther the store from when i got it has bad phones either something is wrong. Each time it's the same. I restart and it works 30 minutes and than again blocked! It's really horrible. I don't know what to do anymore! Thanks once again!

Can someone please tell me what is the main difference between BlackBerries and other business phones like Nokia E51 or E71 or any other business serries phone? Email and internet surfing is my major priority. Thanks

The phone comes out with maps etc. You can download the maps but cannot use them at all. You pay a fee for the maps, but cannot use it!
How do you make the maps work? Do i need to buy a GPS receiver for the phone?

Plz help.

I want to ask you what is happening t... moreare you sure you didn't install any applications before you got to experience the strange behavior of your phone? have you used a symbian device before? if you have, have you experienced this problem in any of those by any chance? because if the phone freezes everytime you press the menu button is a big issue. and its an even bigger issue when you get the same thing with your replacement.

Blair Wyrick, 28 Aug 2008I am having trouble downloading themes and games and all th... moreif you're trying to download via mobile browser you need to have the proper setting selected. if you're trying to download from a W@P site your browser setting has to be set to the W@P setting. if it a normal internet page you're browsing set it to internet from the settings of your phones' browser.
selecting the correct access point is very important. for example if you're using an application like Yahoo! GO, you need mobile internet. but if you're trying to download a theme from a site like zedge via your mobile that should be supported by a W@P access point.

To Kosty;
I think you better visit the nokia care center to check your unit. I don't think that formatting nor upgrading your E51 will resolve your problem.
Or you send back the unit to the store and refund your money since your unit is still defective after they replaced it.
I've been using my E51 for 6 months and I have NEVER experience any problem on my E51 Silver (Finland)

Hi there everyone!
I want to ask you what is happening to my phone? I have an E51. After some time, 1 day and some calls, when i try to press the menu button it blocks. Either it shows the contacts icon and the rest is dead, either call log and the rest is dead. They have changed my phone and the new one does the same. It's so strange. I have changed the SIM card, i have changed the MICRO SD card and it's the same problem.
Can anyone tell me what is going on?
I also installed a new soft and still the same! I have no other ideas!
I look fwd for an asnwer from you! Thanks!

The best way to add themes, apps and other stuff to your E51 is to download and save it to PC then install it to your phone using Nokia PC Suite or save it to your memory card then intall it directly to your phone. Make sure that all stuffs that you downloaded are compatible to E51 (Symbian 60 )

I think you did not read the instruction on how to upgrade the firmware. The most convinient way to do it is just connect your E51 to a pc using Nokia PC Suite, Back Up your phone first then after that select the Update Phone Software option on PC Suite. After doing so, your computer will automically check for the updates and will notify you if your firmware is updated or not. For more details, visit the nokia website.

I am having trouble downloading themes and games and all that good stuff to my phone, do i just save it to my computer and then drag it over? I have tried downloading themes through my phones internet but it just does not work, what am i doing wrong?

Hi , I hope I can get some help , every time I trait to update , it show I have the latest version , the 100 , the 200 is the latest version , Way I can update to 200 version ? It doesn’t even show the 200 version on the update. Tanks very much.
