To use your own mp3 etc as ringtones find the folder in file manager via office select mp3 etc and goto options and choose use as!!
There are other ways to do it but this works... good luck ...

I want to switch my ringtone, msg, and email tone, but can not use my own mp3 tones on my ringtone I did it before,, but I can not do it again. The options are only "download" and "off" even tho I ha my mem card installed. What should I do.

Hello Guys. I have E51 and yes it takes an 8GB micro SD ok with no problems, Must be the Micro SDHC type, And as for connecting to a router with wifi. mine works well with our router. Phil

The pencil key functions still can be used by pressing # button in this phone. There is no dedicated pencil button.
Pre-shared key is the "password" to access the wireless network, ask the guy who set up your wireless network they'll tell you what it is.
phone is fantastic, extremely fast and stable for a symbian phone. i used to use 6600, N70, N80.

i am using nokia e51 with 8gb card and trust me it is very fast.enjoying, well done nokia.excellent phone, better than n95, n82, iphone.

it's really upgradeable external memories up to 8 Gb? 'cos on my nokia e51 guidance book only written support expandable up to 4 Gb...
Does anyone try it??

Hi Winura
I'm afraid I still haven't been able to connect my phone to my router by means of WLAN and I am now totally confused! What exactly is the "pre-shared key"? I set up a network through the Wireless Network Setup Wizard in Windows XP. It gave me a WEP/WPA key consisting of 26 digits. My router settings also provided me with a 12 digit key. None of the two seem to function as the "pre-shared key". Also, I have not been able to locate the "authentication type TKIP encryption PKS" on the phone. Please help!

if you charge your battery when it has some power, it will be show you inaccurate info.
you should empty your battery completely.....
