I'm afraid I still haven't been able to connect my phone to my router by means of WLAN and I am now totally confused! What exactly is the "pre-shared key"? I set up a network through the Wireless Network Setup Wizard in Windows XP. It gave me a WEP/WPA key consisting of 26 digits. My router settings also provided me with a 12 digit key. None of the two seem to function as the "pre-shared key". Also, I have not been able to locate the "authentication type TKIP encryption PKS" on the phone. Please help!

hi how is camera clarity in this e 51 as compare to nokia 6110 (navigator)can any one tells me pls im hurry in buying this phone

To xoomie,
you cannot play .wmv files on the E51. but you will be able to play .divX files on your E51 after you install the DivX software.
you will be able to download a lot of stuff for your phone from these sites.

Hi all, pls share sites that i can download free softwares. Anyway, My E51 cannot play wmv files. The std Real Player cant play it.

There is an nasty fault in the userguide of the E51. Concerns voicedailing. The phone makes its own voicetags you cannot make your own. To voicedail the guide says that you have to press the left speechbutton on the side. This will only operate the dictaphone to make a soundclip. It has nothing to do with voicedailing. In stead use the right small mute-button on the right side between the two volumebuttons, then your ok, you can speak your contacts name and the phone will dail it for you. An anoying fault in all users guides of the E51(camera)

Sorry going to add a bit about the heating up problem. I find the phone does heat up, but also because you are holding it.. The heat from your hands heats the steel, that again is a factor in why it's heating up. Mine heats up because I hold it for long periods of time, my battery is fine though.

Been using the E51 for about 3 months now, made my friend get one, and using 8gb SDHC TF. The only problem with 8gb tf is that when you go to profiles and try to set the ringtone, nothing shows up, just pop the memory card out and try again.. OR alternatively go to the music player and assign them from there. Other than that, the daytime sunlight, the screen is amazing, loud speakers. More than enough ram. Great phone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Hey guys I got my Nokia E51 today and I have no complains because I havent got and problems at all!!!!! And I know I will not get any because I one of my family members also have It and I did a PHD of it LOL! And I loved it so I bought myself one in a silver steel and it is so low in weight a the sound of It is awesome because if you are on the road and it choked and if you keep your vibration on or off you can hear it this is the correct phone ever atleast for me

What is the difference between E51 and E51i? Coz I read on the Specs that E51 does have a camera while E51i doesn't have. Any others? I heard that this E51 has some features similar to E90 - is that true?

you might be able to solve your problem by giving your phone a firmware update. if that doesn't help you will have to take it to your nearest nokia care center.

if it is a 2.5mm jack you might be able to use it with the E51. but can't be so sure. i also have a headset with a 2.5mm jack and it cannot be used with the E51. why do you want to use some other stereo headset? i mean the E51's headset is not bad at all is it?

hi,
im planning to upgrade from the E50 to the E51... basically i have a long history behind coming to the E50.. before i had a 3250 (4 times) i kept on changing the phone if it got problem.. basically i was a die hard FAN of that music phone... than i got tierd went for the 9300i than the 9500.. now im using the E50 and i kind ogf like the phone coz of its looks...
i want to upgrade over to the E51 as i heard its quit loud like the 3250 plus all the better stuff that cums with it.. like the 3G and WIFI...
the looks are too good except that house thing on the keypad instead of the normal symbian symbol which kind of puts me off...
basically can someone tell me about its multi tasking skills? basically i want to know if the phone is good with multi tasking with the java applications connected to the internet.. and if its good with it.. how fast is the internet?
please do feedback me who knows what ikm talking about...
oh yeah... and the head phones that come with the phone... are the shit or good?
