I never used the pouch so no idea about that but one of my cousin was using pouch and the same thing She told me
I dont like use the pouch so i will not say u to use the pouch

To tribute,
you have done the correct thing by sending back your device for a repair. actually its not a virus. its a bug in your firmware. re-installing the firmware will fix your problem.

To kd,
there are certain limitations in this phone. the camera sound is 1 of them. even i couldn't find the option to silent the camera but after a couple of days after buying i found out you cannot mute the camera.

HI, I have this phone through orange(uk) but the silent botton is not working ,Independet retailer say orange has disabled this service and since iam waiting an answer from orange.Has any one else had the same issu. has any one to mange to fix this issue. Thanks

ur prblm is no doubt strange n irritating..it mite be due to any virus...
u must sent it back to d dealer n ask him to get it repaired if its within warranty...
am sure it got to be within warranty....

Hi all,
I"ve posted one question about E51 turn off oftently by itself; even I 've replace the battery (as recommended by Nokia) but nothing happened well, the e51 continue to turn off by itself. It is a very bad situation, I think the e51 is on but some callers sent me sms that why I turned off my phone. Do somebody in this forum has this problem? And Do any body know the solution to this problem?

its a common prblm while installing themes..
do one thing before dwnloading a theme change d date to 31.05.2007 n then install the theme
after it gets installed u can change d date again..
try it...it works....
this method is mentioned in ownskin.com

are you sure it was a theme you were trying to install? because i have not experienced anything like that so far. give it another shot and let me know how it goes. try www.zedge.net this time to download themes.

I will be upgrading my cellular contract today, I have already spoken with the agents, cant wait to introduce this baby to myself. I just love the phone, smart, eye catching, wonderfull specs, jeez can't wait.

go for a pouch which has a VELVET coating from the inside. i managed to buy 1 after long hours of searching for the correct size. make sure the inside of the pouch is clean.

i don't wish to waste my time on arguing. the whole world knows that E series is for business, N series is for multimedia purposes and Xpress Music is for music. (Even though some Xpress Music phones doesn't have the high quality audio out put).
there are no restrictions what so ever to select a Nokia phone from any of these categories. its up to the people to decide which phone they should go for.
for your information i'm not a businessman either even though i use the E51. i bought it after doing some research and coming to a proper conclusion.
so in other words what i'm trying to say here is that if you buy a phone just for the sake of buying one and if it turns out to be bad (not hardware or software), that is not the phones fault. its your fault for not thinking before buying!

there can never be so called a PERFECT PHONE
every phone will be diff frm others n every phone has smething special in it...
if they start makin E51 wi an amzing camera n sound then why to go fr xpress music phones or N73 for camera....
give it a thought....

i have checked it wid data cable n removed it frm dere...
theres one more question i wanted to knw...
we get a leather pouch wid this phone as we do in 6300 ...d leather pouch with 6300 spoils the back over completely by scratching it ...is it the same wid this phones leather cover? does it scratchs d phone????

It's not a bad impression for Nokia. Everybody know phones from Nokia are best, because of its features and handling. I am telling the fact of E51. Everybody knows E51 has great speed & features, as well as worst sound & camera.
I was only saying that if it would carry good sound quality & camera then it would be the best phone ever from Nokia for everybody, not just for business man.
Business man can go for it but for guys those who want stuff.. E51 goes good not the best.
