- camera sound cannot be disabled
- phone switch on sound cannot be disabled
- small fonts
- low speaker sound
- hard-to-press volume button
- cant view pics full screen
- phone length very long
- cant password-lock messages/media gallery
- bad screen display
- heats up after prolong usage
- metallic structure scratch-able
- no smileys in smss
- very high SAR value
- not good for games
- useless video call feature
- handsfree not satisfactory
- not for multimedia use
- small screen
- keypad prone to damage

hey i have a question. How come on my dads phone, the my location feature wont work on his e51 but it works on my e65. When ever you press 0 for my location, it says its unavailable. Hes tried it on wifi and on a packet data access point. Any suggestions?

google maps lets you navigate nicely, despite lack of built in GPS in e51

vodacom havent even got the e51 yet.. soo irritating. my upgrade is soon.. 28th of feb... hope they get it.. cause if i cant afford the n95 i will either go for n81 or e51....

It's a great business class phone. Not toy for kids, with many improved functionts. It's the fastest phone I had seen (I mean control).

Long press button #, that should put the phone to a profile called Silent (which you can customized)... i have no problem with this. if yr phone has a problem, suggest that you take it back. in fact, this feature is present in almost all nokia phone, including my old series 40 phone, nvr had a problem. sorry for you, tho.

seriously, i've not had a 'freeze' issue with this phone, after using it for 3mths. but i nvr keep sms msgs, i'll delete it most of the time, on daily basis. but you can set how many sms msgs to keep in the phone, this phone has that function (i bet u already know this). but really, with the speedier processor and bigger RAM, logically, it should not freeze like the old symbians. it my phone freezes, i'll be sure to post it here and share.

to use IM, you have to download (do it via WIFI and save money :-) WIndows Live Messenger application. Just go to the icon "Download" and do some discovery there.
my IM conversations are great as i use t9 for typing. and cool thing abt it, IM via wifi is free and very STABLE!

@ t-sepz, yeah i think i am going to switch from my e65 to the e51 soon. I really hate the speed of the e65 it is unbelievably slow for an s60 phone. People just getting the e65 now because the price has gone down but they'll be saying the same thing soon

I liked it, it is so great with so much of business application and wonderful price.
If you don't care about the Camera [only disadvantage] go for it
