please someone tell me if it's possible to activiate the speaker phone right after dialing the number? In some nokia models you have to wait to hear the a free dial tone first, in others the speaker option comes up immediately after entering the phone number, I would be really grateful if someone could comment on that.

i thought the same thing,i like silver but i got opinions around me that,silver is more visible to any scratch.thanks !!!

I just got silver one. Looks stylish and very very solid. Very good keypad i ever use. Loudspeaker volume is about average. I think a business cell phone doesn't need loudspeaker like N95. It is ok. The silver looks better.

Need some wise inputs on the notes funtion... are we able to create short notes on E51? I am currently having a basic function phone and a PDA and have plans to integrate the hardware... was interested in Samsung i600 but reviews says that the Word document cannot be edited. Appreciate any inputs.

E51 exact same E50 with wlan and improved cam. E50 is avail 200$ black why we should buy? the same fate as N93i suffered most.Wait is the name of game by three months it will touch 200.

Well finally bought this Phone, The silver colour really looks great its very compact and solid the key pad is the best so far in nokia... the LED indicator looks very good. well guys i had to accept all the goodies with the only down thing is had it been just 3 mm shorter...but i like the way it is, its voice quality is crystal clear ... the ringer speaker is almost the same as of e 50 camera is better too... the thing that shoked me was the headphones its almost like 5300 ... welll guys if you like e series i think its perfect it costs about $350 in UAE and i guess its romising for an year use the best thing is the voice quality its really very clear you know there are just a few phones whose voice quality is good the 6500 slide the e 50 the e65 and the e90 and this one .... buy it ! if you like the e series... it has no match at all.

how is the built quality? does it feel cheap? if u were to choose between this and the 6110 which one would u have? i like the 6110 but i dont know about its built quality!! this E51 is made of stainless steel and it looks from pictures that its solid and that no creeks sounds are present.

Used this phone for about a week since i got it. So far so good. No hangs, no restart problem. Everything ok . . .very smooth . .and sms is a breeze now . . cos of the keypad layout and also the rubberised keypad now have a more solid feel (feels like using a laptop keyboard) .. . very solid feel. Material of the screen and the steel are good. no protetion or screen overlay on it still no scratches even i put it in my bag or trouser pocket. Ringtone wise i would say very much average. . but loud enough on a crowded place . . . .the only down side i would say is the slightly long candy bar phone size. it just doesn't compliment this phone that much. . . but nothgin is perfect . . .cos of all the functions and EDGE and 3G built into this phone . . i would say . .the slightly enlongated phone is still a winner of it choice . . .No regretz . . .cos i got the Rose color edition of this phone. Nice color . . i would say Silver would be the second choice color. The black one just make this phone look so dull . . . .

in indonesia, it sell on $US 338. looks like a good phone. but lack of front camera for video call. the advantage is the wlan and hsdpa capability :)
