Can anyone tell me please if they have upgraded the fireworm from 300.34.56 to 400.34.01
and what changes they have noticed, if any?

Need help please !! is opening the line of a lock nokia e51 to a provider bad for the phone ? will opening the line void the warranty and will it damage the phone ???

every thing is good in e51 except small screen.nokia should give bigger screen for e 51.

There are so many features in this phone but I will point out one particular feature which will show the true power of the E51.
Yesterday I networked my E51 with my office network and I was able to view files stored on the networked PCs and could do various things with the files on the PC like copy and even delete! file from the PC using the phone. I deleted a few files and watch them disappear from the computer's monitor like magic...all this being done with my E51's delete button.
Bear in mind, all these files were stored on the computer's hard drive BEFORE I ever connected my phone to the computer and I was able to connect my E51 and delete the files and even the folder without any hitches.
The files I deleted where some Nvidia drivers for the video card in the PC...the installation files.
My phone is now feared by at least one co-worker who I have shown this magnificent capability.

I love this phone, and it's workings it's like having
a computer in my pocket, it will go good with my net
book I have, It will be like taking my office with me
on the go, and never loose contact with anyone where
ever I go, i find sometimes i get lost using it but soon I know what i'm doing, so yes it will go well
with my netbook, it very good and execellent.

My wife and I bought these phones a little over a year ago. They did every thing we wanted. Mine started to go after 7 months use. My voice was distorted as if I was under water, then it went out all together. I had to use the headset to talk. a week later it locked and could not access anything even thought it was displayed. Ok I can be a bit rough at times and realy stress test the phones. But I did try to avoid this. swapping sim cards with my old phone if I anticipated hazards. sent it in to an online repair place for nokia. DEAD JIM. My wife babies her phone and now hers is on the fritz. I have been happy with previous nokia phones we have had. I am looking for a replacement now (using my previous nokia). Nokia phones are tempting me but I have to now part paths after owning 4 consecutive nokia's my wife feels the same way. Bye Nokia

The E51 doesn't support N-Gage out of the box but it can work if you hack the phone. You will have to read up on certain forums for that like DOTSIS.com

even the e71 and e63, has probl... moreWhere the E51 is concerned you can reduce the heat by lowering the TX POWER LEVEL from the default setting of 100 to 4.
Bear in mind though that transmission strength will be weaker. It's best to use the lower TX POWER LEVEL if you are very close to a Wi-Fi router, eg. at home or in your office.
I have been on a Wi-Fi call for 1 hour and there was NO HEAT whatsoever at the lowest power level.
