This is a business phone and some company's (that buy the phones for their staff) don't want camera's on the phones for security reasons. This is why Nokia is offering this product, so the guys from some company's sourcing department can keep their respective security department happy.

On Windows Mobile:
Some people see Microsoft as an abusive monopolist and want to keep them out of the mobile game because they fear Microsoft would end-up charging end-consumers €150 for Windows Mobile and another €200 for a Mobile Office Suite once they have 90 plus percent market share in this arena. Many people argue that Microsoft has strangled numerous firms and significant innovations to death in the PC world and most mobile companies are not keen on seeing them get their cluches firmly on this market too. This is why none of the majors has gone beyond offering a few Windows Mobile phones to consumers.

no, camera for taking pictures of real estate sites, scanning business cards, and etc. Plus most people use one phone for business and personal. Mp3 = better time on the can. Mp3 is also good for time when u are working out, not sure what kind of business you guys are in but, are company has a gym that i use everyday. Phones that have os like n95 isn't classified as a business phone, whats the difference between that vs this phone?

business phone = ring + hello + see you there

                      camera for dirty people

mp3 to waste time while you are in a conference?

if you want a business phone go get a nokia 1100 and a palm.

Answer to a nameless guy (part 2): What makes it a business phone is the Symbian OS (including the Office apps.) No one said it is better than HTC or another mobile phone it is just one of many. Maybe one difference from HTC phones is the price.

I don't understand why people are stating "its a business phone you don't need a camera." What exactly is a business phone? Does the phone make money for you? Can it edit excel files do your taxes or something? are you able to comply with competitors for your business cause of your phone? What makes this phone any different then phones like htc touch, se p1 and etc etc, from a business point of view? How can this phone be better for you is more or less what peoples concern about.

nice, i like it. i just hope there are some useful music features included, but probably aren't, since this is more of a busines phone..

Answer to the nameless guy: In some companies it is corporate policy not to allow cameras in the office area. This is the reason why Nokia develops such variations.

Hmm.. This phone is quite boring, perhaps?
It has all functions, that's perfect except a camera? Why.. Awkward business/office phone. At least a 2 mega pixels camera will fulfill the people's desire. Somehow, Nokia did a great job for those who really need a handy digital office phone. Well done
