I hear some people complain about the power button of the E51.
I have had mine since July 11, 2008 and my power button is still intact. Mine was made in Finland. Where was yours made ?
I think the reason why some of the E51 power buttons were destroyed is because of the owners misuse. They use their finger nails and other objects on the power buttons because according to them, it's hard to press.
I have NEVER had to use my finger nail nor metallic etc. object to operate my E51's power button. I simply press it to the right of the button and the button goes down easily.
Also, the side buttons have never been a problem for me, I too get those buttons pressed easily.
Rubber buttons are more sturdy whereas metallic or plastic buttons will be shaky right out of the box or after a few uses.
I do appreciate my E51 rubber buttons, no sweat to press them where I am concerned.
I held a E52 in my hands recently and I didn't even have to press the top or side buttons to see them wobble.

i am using e51 and as compare to e52 only the difference is of camera and memory support . the main draw back of e51 is weight and the same is with nokia e52. so price wise i think e51 is best option

dave, 22 Oct 2009...and before i forget. It's so difficult getting the batte... morewhen taking out the battery i used the edge of the back cover to lift the battery up a bit and then used my nail/finger... very easy to do...

Mine died after 1 month and now it's with Nokia Australia. They say they might not be able to repair it because of no available parts.

E51 is more robust??? What??? Power and volume buttons suck!! They're made by rubber. I owned a E51 for less than one year...after 8 months the power button was destroyed!!

I just got mine and did not like too much i had E51 is more better than E52 I do not recommend it do not wast your money

I m also worried abt my 1 .... it has been 2 weeks and so far no problem ..... but if u can face problem after 2 months, then anythin can still happen to my set .... i shud have read the opinions b4 buying the set ... just saw the review, got excited and bought it .... now I m just prayin i dont regret my decision ....
