Read all the bad reviews and still went ahead to buy an e52 yesterday(made in korea)in Ghana.Got it from a Nokia shop over here.Function-wise i am very excited. But that is where it ends.The build is not solid. I so afraid it will come apart if i drop it. I can confirm the metal face shifts slightly and there is light leakage from the under the key pad. Let's wait and see if the phone holds up.

I want this phone...it's so cute and not to big.
Does anybody know if they sell this at any od the Walmarts and the exact price range for it?

this unit really sucks,6weeks already in nokia care still discouraging result..shame on the manufacturer..
they should replace it with other unit,i bought it brand new and they will open it for repair after 5days.damn!its not right!i regreted that i bought this unit.

Hi I finally bought the grey E52 today after months of decision making. Got it from Singapore for approx USD 360. Basically I wanted a light E series phone less than 100 grams which it is. And packed with a lot of features. Seems to be good till now, what astonishes me is the light leakage under the home button. Its a sheer design error, how could Nokia not see it!

I bought TWO Nokia E52's from Singapore. 3 Weeks later, one phone wouldn't turn on and would not be recognised by the PC (as in completely dead). 2nd E52 reboots several times a day of its own accord, but mostly mid call. Have sent back to repair. Nokia Care center in Australia is really crap. I have used Nokia for over 12 years and am really disappointed. Even the N95 problems from 2 years ago weren't as bad as this. My current experience with the E52 is that it is full of bugs. As these bugs have been extensively reported for 4 months now, I don't see Nokia admitting that there is a problem or performing a recall. In my personal opinion, I really can't recommend Nokia phones at this point in time. As an owner of an iPhone 3GS, I have to say that from a reliability point of view, I am swayed to use that. I can accept a reboot occassionally, but not 5-10 times a day.... Additionally Nokia Care center in Melbourne have told me lies and if you look hard, there is actually no way to raise a complaint with Nokia. If you call the care line, there is no way to formally lodge a complaint! So honestly, it looks like Nokia has taken a big step backwards and is due to lose market share as a result.

After using it for 6 hours it hanged and I was never able to get it working again. Have to send it back to Nokia Care.

hi, does garmin xt work perfectly on your e52? i am using v5.00.60 and it's nearly unuseable. always crashes! how about yours?

ashman, 13 Oct 2009Well... it is really confusing... GSM Arena says Nokia E52 ... morei am an e52 user for the past 2 months. so far, i haven't encountered any problems with this unit. it's fast. web surfing is superb, as well as downloading. camera is ok.. hope its autofocus though..

Mine is Korean made. Please if somebody share the good story, mentioned where it is made and the software version. thx

I have a question about buying this phone.
I have the HTC Hero for about a month, but I was wondering if I should change the HTC Hero for the new Nokia E52 which is very great phone too ??
I am a high class user, which means that I use every functions of the phone. But I am a little bit dissapointed at HTC Hero battery life and afcosre, there is no bluettoth A2DP transfer at Hero.
Would it be better to buy the NOKIA E52 or to keep my HTC Hero ?? Any suggestions will be in a great hellp.
How good preformance does NOKIA E52 have ??

Does anyone know where to get a black replacement housing? Have the phone in metal grey, but want to change to the black cover, without changing the phone!

i've got problem with system error messages, phone restarts whenever i go facebook, slow image gallery...some images even failed to appear at all.
don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining like some fools!!.....i just pressed *#7370#.....that's all.
My phones restarted for the last time...over a month now, everything worked perfectly FINE!!!!
