All the new photos I saw were taken with a Nikon D200...according to your caption.

What I thought I would have seen was photos taken with a Nikon D200 and the same subjects also taken with a E52 for comparison.

Can you please do that for me ? (smile).

Thanks my friend.

        Hi TRF,

I'm a newbie to smart-phones & multimedia phones in general.

I just want to know if the MP3 ring-tone we hear depends on the Audio Quality or the Speakerphone quality??

From the reviews I have read for the E52, Audio Quality is really good but the Speakerphone is average.

        Thanks in advance :)

In the first pictures it seems that the E52 flash makes a little damage in the colour pics, don't you think? In my opinion Goku 5800 pic is better than e52 one, but the other two bottles pics seems equal.

In the new ones, pics are named as NikonD200, croc, river, kite,... are all e52 pics?

I've tried the E52 and liked it very much but was hesitant to buy as i wanted to research further. Reading the posts here has confirmed my +ve opinions of it. However, the grey letters on keypads were hard to see and the gold/black ones have a too reflective surface around the screen, very distracting. The display wasn't as clear and bright as my 6300 (which i love very much n am quite reluctant to part with). Could it be the unit's brightness/contrast level needed adjustment? Am still waiting eagerly for O_ J to get hold of one for his complete review and opinion. :)

Gunaratna, 12 Sep 2009Is there carl zeiss lens in camera?Nope. It doesn't have a carl zeiss lens.

But it uses EDoF(Extended Depth of Field) technology.

It helps improve picture quality by processing form an input stack of what is taken best from the 3 spectrum of Red, Blue and Green. To summarize it's definition. hehe

But because of the phone camera's tiny lens, so much light can only be captured.

Just check out my sample pics to see for yourself if it's good enough for you.

I'll take more sample shots over the week.

I've been watching this forum since i want to buy this E52. I notice u and mr.jamaican are giving many positive contributions for this forum, many thanks for u and all the E52 user who share their thought on this phone.

btw, from the photo taken, i think E52 is not as bad as i thought previously. I think its quite good for business phone criteria.

Then new ones are all taken by E52.

I'll ping back to you tonight about the keypad feel between E52 and 6300.

but yeah, it's very comfortable and large buttons are really great, especially if you have big hands or long fingers.

As TRF said, the keys are a pleasure to use so if you can afford it go for it. But it does seem like a waste to purchase a phone like this which can control the world and only use it for texting, that's an insult to the phone's capabilities (smile).

I have read numerous reviews which praises the keypad greatly, so greatly that it makes me wonder if the E52 keypad beats the 6300's.

TRF or ANYBODY who have used a E52 as well as 6300. can any of you comment on the E52 keypad in comparison to the 6300 keypad ?

If I don't get this phone in my hand today then I should have it by Monday.

simon, 11 Sep 2009Thanks OJ! Problem with the 6300 phone at the moment for m... moreHi simon,

OJ didn't mean that the E52 is bad for texting, personally I've been using it for texting and setting up my calendar schedule since I got it back.

                                It's a pleasure to use.

What OJ meant was that E52 is more than just a texting device, so you're better off buying cheaper alternatives than this smartphone.

If you can afford though, it's keys are large and the tactile feed back is excellent, very quick and responsive(since I text 20-30 times a day).

The calendar is also quick and responsive.

So to answer your question before, yes it is good at texting and yup it's much much more than that as OJ stated.

                                cheers!

Hope this comment helps in your decision.

Problem with the 6300 phone at the moment for me is that the battery life is TERRIBLE!

I use it for texting, calling, and internet (checking emails, news, etc)
and the battery life dies within the 6 hours of use!

Hence, the battery life of this phone, E52 attracts me... but if you said that this is not the best feel for texting, im not sure now. because Texting is keuy for me! and i prefer this keypad, over the qwerty keypad

If you only use your phone mainly to text and calendar purposes then maybe the E52 isn't for you. Smartphones are for people who wants much more than a phone. Your usage can be done on virtually any phone out there. However, if you want to feel a sturdy metallic feel in your hands while you text then E52 is the right choice. I must say though that I owned a 6300 previously and of all the Nokia phones I have owned, the 6300's keypad is the absolute best at texting. The keys have a nice soft touch while being tactile at the same time. It was always a pleasure texting with the 6300.

                                    To TRF:

Keep up the good work. We all enjoy your posts.
