Very poor quality. It freezes in middle of conversation. I bought it new, from the Nokia store, and after 7 days it stopped functioning. It could not be started, and I had to give it back to the store in service/warranty. The guys from the store said that almost 30% of the E52 and E55 phones sold came in service after 1-2 weeks, most with the same problem, it cannot be started.. They said that they send the phones back to the factory. Those models are just garbage

And you act as if no "store" ever sold a counterfeit product.
My question stands for both eBay AND "legitimate" retailers. How can I be assured I am buying a genuine product?

Got my E52 yesterday. Amazing device NO doubt . Just ONE thing that I dont like in it. The gallery view. I dont know Y nokia put disgusting gallery view of N series in the best seller E series.
Gallery view and organizing of the pictures and videos was so categorical in the E series.
I really hate this view in which you can not organize your pix n vdoz. If you put them in the different albums even then you can view them in the main gallery. NOKIA should fix it that if some pix or vdoz are moved to certain album then they should'nt be in the main gallery list.
Rest of the phone is mind blowing. The weight. The feel. Keypad. Battery performance is superb.

the e-series are business phones. The camera is not their priority. If you want great picture quality get a digital camera instead.
By the way, it costs 18.5k (php) in a nokia store.

have been using for 2 weeks.
problems are :
- does not have function to highlite/marks phonebook and messages list. so have to go to option of: mark all or mark (one item).
- when browsing go to facebook, it automatically restarting/rebooting
- after installed Mini Opera, when click to use it, automatically restarting/rebooting

Can anyone comment on the flood of Hong Kong sellers currently selling this phone on eBay? What is the real risk of getting a "knockoff" Nokia phone?
I've never purchased an unlocked phone before, so I am concerned about legitimacy.

This phone is finally available is some shops in Egypt but only in silver but unfortunately the pad is not very clear because of glare,golden aluminium will be much nicer but not available here,it is made in Korea,I have nothing against that,keep in mind that Samsung phones r made in Korea&they r excellent too,but I am a Nokia fan

i just bought nok e52. sweet and cool. my e52 made in korea. the batt is around 3-4 day with normal use. a lil surprise.. there is a torch!!! unfortunately there is no camera autofocus hiks.. and the weakness of grey colour is difficult to see the number coz it is almost the same with phone colour.. i will change to brown keypad next time when the acc. comes. cheers..

I've got it one week ago. I'd say that's really what I've expected from it! Long life battery, very slim, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm audio jack, excellent sound, etc. Made in Finland (to the previous one). Highly recommended.
