Perhaps Nokia wants to sell E75 and N97 as many as possible and then realese cheaper E52 & E55. I can understand they want to move the date, but Q2 is over and they didn't even pick a date! There's a narrow line. If they don't do something quick, people will buy other phones NOT from Nokia. I know some people already who decided to buy something else. Even if the prices of N97 and E75 are much higher the ammount of people who wants to buy new E50s insted of N97 E75 is much much higher and the profits would be much much higher. It's so simple but they can't understand that? I would fire whole Nokia's marketing. Shame You and keep continue good work.

I'm currently have k750i and N82.. desprately looking an upgrade.. got my eyes on N97, Omnia HD, E72.. but E55 is a league of it's own. no other phone comes as a substitute in term of specs and shape. It's so unique I guess there is also some marketing strategy by Nokia. This phone has 600MHZ and qwerty (half) and costs much cheaper than 434Mhz N97.. Isn't it reasonable for Nokia to postpone this phone because of that, and suspected hw or sw problems among other things?

It is sad that Nokia(the producer) doesn't know when it will be avaible. We can only hope that it will be realesed. They're loosing clients each day, so either they're stupid or something is really wrog with this phone

I spoke to Nokia Poland. They said that E55 and E52 hasn't been canceled but the realease date is unkonwn.
Nokia France shows that both models are avaible on pre-order but "coming soon" has dissapear. Nokia Finland shows that only E52 is avaible for pre-order.

Frankly, if a company has no clue when one of its products is going to get released, it's never a good sign! I stopped waiting and bought an iPhone 3GS!

I suggest everyone should e-mail nokia and ask them when the release date for this mobile is. Maybe someone will get a proper answer. I've sent an e-mail just a couple minutes ago. I'll be sure to post back if I hear anything.

failed, 02 Jul 2009nokia can not launced the e55 because new cpu processor 600... moreI doubt there is a processor issue. The Nokia 5630 was just released and it has the same processor. Something else is holding it up though who knows what that is?
