Looks really great. It would have been perfect if the camera was a bit like the one in the E72. Anyway, i'm going to buy it as i don't want to walk with a brick (E72) in my pocket.

I know that this is e55 place to talk...just got a confirmation that e52 will be on stores this month.Will buy it even though i like the e55 more.

Hey, PS6s... if you don't like E55 or Nokia.. why do you lingering in this forum and using many phony names.. just tell me your motive bashing on E55.. are you dissapointed that Nokia won't release it? get a healthy compensate.. will you?

Bobo, 01 Jul 2009I hawe alsow been waitin for the E55 to come out, and now i... morenokia can not launced the e55 because new cpu processor 600MHZ for e55 have a problem! another reson the nokia maps 3.0 is failed! u can see why nokia n97 still use nokia maps 2.0? and another reson nokia want to clear stock old cpu model first,like e75 only used old cpu 360MHZ,HSDPA 3.6,n97 also same,3.6Mbps,that why is two model lauching first!

Have you seen the price of that Toshiba G01? Here in the US it's $999 compared to $349 for e55

I hawe alsow been waitin for the E55 to come out, and now i must admit that i am kinda fed up with waiting.
So im thinking about waiting for the E72(mybe it will never come out, considering the E55...)
Anyway i think that nokia isnt fair to us consumers. Alsow with the E71, it says on the NOKIA main webside, that its awalible in BLACK, yet i have not seen, not one, black nokia E71, so dare i say... WTF NOKIA?!?!
NOKIA tell us whats wrong and why you didnt launche the E55, dont let us sit in the dark waiting... like fools...
Otherwise i would say, that many pepole, including me, will go to a different brandname.

They never put it there in the first place and then removed it right? There still hope however slim I'll take my chances. Are you still with your N82? my wife bought a good second hand still with warranty (no new one available). It's very nice phone but two days ago the earphone broke (no voice). I took it to nokia care and they fixed it on the spot.. two hours later it's back to normal.

Hi Nokia! E series is for business which does not base on office or ppt, it is very important to have all specifications on E series as businessman needs everything: high pixel camera 5M at least for now(8M or 12M would be superb), autofocus, video 30fps, flash, high CPU 600 - 1200MHz, 250-500MB RAM, high music quality, high speed connection, more network bands (850, 900, 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100), fast GPS, high power battery, support all 3rd party applications, WIFI, and other standards. If all these high specifications available in Nokia, E series is worth for all businessmen of the 5continents like merchants, archictects, designers, engineers, reporters, students, professors, civil servants, and hundred more occupations. Please Nokia, change all Nokia products to the above mention spec. as it is high-tech era now. I am sure Nokia can produce this product!

I have been silently waiting for the E55 like many. Until the last few days nokia website had displayed E55 as an upcoming model. I was shocked and dissappointed to see that it no longer exists in their website. Have they withdrawn the launch for some reason? Very dissappointing !

We are as their customers should react to Nokia that this is not a good and fair strategies for their customers - keep us waiting for too too long. For me I bought another brand which I'm very satisfied with my new mobile now.
