I have the e51 right now. e55 seems to be the perfect upgrade to my phone. i have used the e71, e66 and e75. didnt like the full qwerty keyboard. it was difficult for me to type on it cuz of fat fingures. i'm faster with t9 on 51 than full qwerty on e71.
e51,e66,e71,e75 - they all share the same processor.
e55 is what i'm looking forward to buying by july end (hope its out in UAE by then). this will give me enough time to test it or any glitches to be corrected b4 i move to uk in sep.
the features that i like abt e55 is the 3.5mm jack (i used a 2.5 to 3.5 convertor right now

everyone please have a look at the processor....its damn fast i guess...the battery is good also ....since the display is small.. the battery backup would be great.but tyhe ergonomics is the only thing im anxious about.qwerty must be good ,i pray.

KK, 17 May 2009I think Nokia has taken way too long to launch this phone..... moreI agree. Still not available. It was announced so early and yet, still no stock. I don't know why but am getting tired of waiting. Finally a phone that can replace my trusty old Symbian but it's taking so long I'm about to give up and buy something else.
And I hope someone does a good review on the new keyboard... I've heard enough about it having AGPS, Wifi, the 3.5mm jack or whatever... just let me know if they input method sucks and the E52 will do better....

Laser, 19 May 2009Is it true that the phone can be recharged only via the USB... moreAs i have learned, the phone can only be charged through the usb slot, but i have read on nokia official site that the package will also contain, besides the new usb charger AC-10, the CA-146C adapter for 2mm/3.5mm nokia chargers. So you have nothing to worry about.

i have e51 and i think its the best phone i had till now i also think that e55 is far more better and when he will appear the voting result will be 10

I think you are right about the Micro usb charger, the same as the nokia N85.
If that is the only disadvantage, i will come over it.

I dont see the plug for the charger on the phone.. only the plug for USB and one head fone.. dont tell me that you NOKIA will again change in the charger on this phone.. it's stupid.. i'm currently having E51/E71 with me and i'm very happy to have only one charger for both.. I dont want to have another phone which is not compatible with the old type. Think about what you will have to carry when you are traveling... I like the phone but will hate it if it has USB charging port. USB charger is good.. when you need some emergency power but NOKIA should start from earlier E serie. NOKIA, they do this on purpose. As E51 and E71 are a perfect pair so if some one want to replace just the old E51 they they will have to think twice just on this small charging problem. to me.. the E75 doesnt look interesting at all when all the feature are the same with 71 but the large keyboard and heavier and thicker and..v.v...

This is d best phone i've ever seen by nokia..consider d 1500mah battery..it'll go on and on..wifi..autofocus camera..vga resolution video recording..3.5mm jack headphone compatible..so plug in ur bose headphones in..miniusb so no more loose connections after months of using..s60 v3.2 so will support huge collection of applications..this is d phone..ur wait is over..

Wat is the connection between election and phone release??
These happen only in India..
Does anyone have any explanation why nokia is delaying E55's release?
Is it to save E75 sales or are they not confident of E55's hybrid QWERTY?
