Anonymous, 13 Oct 2010I just tried recording a call with the built in recorder an... moreBert I was mistaken...it does beep every 15 sec I just didn't listen long enough to notice. I tried starting the recorder first and then making a call but it shut the recorder off when I tried to do this.
I guess if you want covert call recording a paid app is still the only option.

Obviously my side of the conversation was louder but I heard the other person on the recording fine. It also doesn't beep like some of the call recording apps do.
Good idea Bert as I was going to buy an app for this and now I don't have to!

This phone is a mess. It is the most expensive phone i ever bought, and will stay that way. The back plate is just so thin it bends in your hands. I forgot it in the trunk, during a mildly hot day, and it kept saying "Phone startup failed, please contact retailer". The battery life is good, altough i was expecting more. Wireless on youtube really drains it. Normally, about 5-10 minutes a day talking and about 30 minutes playing on it, i have electricity for 10 days. On wireless it decreases significantly. Today i dropped it of the table, on the plastic floor, and it died on me. Hatefull phone, i hope Nokia will repair it for me.

actually,nokia E55 is a smartphone design from nokia and is a compactible phone for browsing.to finalize my opinion e55 is one of the slimest phone i ever see.

How many contact entries can this phone store in its phone book? What do you mean by " practically unlimited entries " in your specifications under phonebook category?
