but there is an ovi freeware that makes your screen into a torch.
not very bright - but serves the purpose.

i bought this phone on e bay india.
some comments.
the keypad - it does require some getting used to (abt 1 week id say) and (obviously) it is not like a full qwerty. but the t9 is quite precise.
the battery life is fantastic.
the videos are replayed well.
the headphones are so-so but they do not have muti size ear cups. so, the ear plugs tend to fall off and thats really irritating.
the phone does lag/hang once in a while.
it is FULLY loaded and totally feature rich.
the speaker phone shure could have been better and louder.

The camera is not crap ok.Its 3.2 mp EDoF(Extended Depth of Field)lense. Which gives better images in normal camera lense campared to autofocus and fixed focus lenses.

Cannot fault this handset in terms of performance but the camera is crap (Nokia should have made it 5m pixel autofocus) and the battery cover has a habit of coming away in your hand after a while (so I have it in a silicone case all the time now) :(

Is the keypad comfortable to use? does it take time to get used to this sort of keypad layout? ... can you type fast enough? I think I might go for this phone ... it's cool and unique and has all the right features.

Its beautifully sleek, amazingly powerful & fast.
runs smooth. but needs the software update after you buy. multiple apps do not slow it down. Some corners still need to be tweaked. like push Email.

This one realy is around as powerful and fast as N900? If so i think I would buy this ones since it has hte half-querty and all of that. One thing more. Is it possible by Nokia's own updates to upgrade the camera into an autofoxuscamera instead of fixedfocus and if not is there an aplication for that?
