I feel confused about buying phone.
I had just lost my Nokia N95 8GB and need a new replacement.
But I don't like N-Series anymore.
I want E-series.
I have these 2 options.
Nokia E71, which has a full qwerty keyboard or shall I wait for this Nokia E55.
I like Nokia E71 because it has a full qwerty.
and another thing I'm wondering that maybe I'll be having a hard time on this half qwerty.
I have large fingers... what do u think???

this is best fone for me nd my dad................its worth a wait 4 this mobile..............i can use this mobile...............even my father can sumtimes................not all qwerty key pad mobile can do this thing

ALMOST every part of e55 are great for businessman, except for half qwerty keypad, and gsmarena team must have knew it, then why they give score 9 for design? (e55 keypad same as SE P1, and gsmarena P1’s review said that after 1 week they still can’t use it comfortably). If professional reviewer need more than 1 week, then how much time do ordinary people need?
So NOKIA, please make e55 with normal keypad, then I will shut my mouth and buy e55 without any hesitation

Roger, 22 Apr 2009Come on, where is our detailed review? And why is it taking... moreRoger, unlike e75, e55 is not packing crappy old hardware and hence the wait. The camera will be the BEST lenses for quick focusing that no other phone had prior to e55, so it'll be worth the wait and low price.

one of the worst lacks 4 this and any other mobile phones is "not having TV out" this mobile olso doesnt have stereo speakers that is very important.

Hi,nokia.....every nokia phone now should follow THIS step,USE 1500Amh battery as a new standard. I believe most of ppl out there will support this idea.Like N96, a good multimedia phone and large screen but the battery only using 890Amh...???? Nice feature and a dead phone. Maybe nokia should get N96 a new battery.

I gave up on my idea to buy the E71. No matter what people say the E55 has better specs..just read the spec sheet carefully. The only thing I don't know about is the chassis build quality... probably not as solid.
Other than that, looks like a better bet. And the half-qwerty suretype keyboard might work quite well once you learn how to use it.

Taking forever.. the E75 is in stock already but I've been told that E55 will only be in stock in August. Odd since the press release mentioned them both at the same time.

US Preorders are available for $350. That's a killer price for this handset and means it will be probably sub-$300 shortly after it is released. Beauty of a phone, killer CPU spec (first 600MHz Nokia), and great price. Looks to be a winner all around.

this phone is listed but not yet in stock at some european stores. it costs about 500€ to preorder. i guess the price will drop significantly once it is actually shipping.

Dont think so, e71... moree71 got the best buld quality / materials. get one and see...after that is the e51 (stainelss steel but plastic part is not as good as the e71's) ..them e50 ... but about the same quality as the 6300 (wich has better plastic part than the e50)
