Battery Life is Horrible..... False Commitment by Nokia on Website with regards to Battery life.... I am now stuck with it... Not recommended if you are heavy user of talktime...

The E6 is well worth the price and its a big upgrade from the E 71. A little less battery time compared to E71.
And of course it has a D-pad, but on E6 it is called Navi button

Wao am falling in love with dis Fone, i think its time for me to Move to Symbian Phone..... But hope dis Phone is nt too much cost in Nigeria.

as nokia promised the battery life of this phone is excellent.
guys please wait until 3-4 recharges and then you will really see the difference.
mark my words this handset is one of its kind with an excellent battery life for a touch and type device.

Just a thought, not sure if anyone has any experience with this, let's say I use the touch screen sparingly, would it save on battery life?
Reason why I'm asking is because I use the touch screen very little as the D-pad proved to still be very useful, and I want to find out if this fella can last me 2 days on moderate-heavy usage ^^

Always good to see old friends (smile).
If you E51 is still going strong, you still love it and you don't have a desire to change it yet...then hold on to it until you absolutely deem it necessary to move on.
I retired my E51 last October and got an E71. I would like to get this new E6 and see if it's a true upgrade from the E71.
I tell you though my friend, once you go qwerty you can't go back to alphanumeric.

AnonD-14149, 18 Jul 2011Please share you experience about E6 meaning about its batt... morei have been using e6 for 20days...i charge the phone every 2days with two battery meter bar still left ...my normal usage per day is about 2hrs of talking,full display light ..about 3hrs through 3g net..i vary 3g to 2g as per requirement which saves my battery life...i dont hear a lot of music through a phone,so it saves me battery life..i click a few photos for i love it...but still dont use the camera of a mobile phone much...i have my canon camera for photography...
Remember one thing..,i normally purchase the phone and charge it full on switched off mode...and then start using it vividly,e6 battery life is fantastic and i believe it can go around 2.5 or 3days completely it used in proper power saving mode...best of luck if u want to buy it...its worth each penny of its class apart...go for it

Well guys im using E6 for the last 3 weeks, initially battery time was not up to the mark but after 3 or 4 recharges, it gets better. And guys plz dont compare it with E71 or E72 they dont have touch screen. i have installed alot of softwares, had voice chat through skype...no issue uptill now, no hangups no restart.

Everytin on earth is wrong wit dis phone it heat up so so much when ever am charging it and even wen am not browsing wit it. And the Battery Life sucks it does not even Last me for 12 hours under normal usage like playin Music wit d phone. NOKIA please u guys should withdraw dis phone back in d Market and go look properly wats wrong wit dis phone. Am realy so Disappointed
