Ankur, 14 Jul 2011Could anyone confirm whether the E6 actually has a call wai... morecall waiting is network function, not mobile function. Even if phone ui does not support sending of code to HLR, you can call operator's call center and request service activation.

First,people don't codemn nokia for anything exept having hugely expensive phones,wich is true.
Now I don't have anything against Nokia , I even like their qwerty phones beacause they really are practical but to call Nokia in general the most practical phone then you must have never touched any other phone .
So if all you want is a good telephony phone,whatever that is(altough it has to be nokia from what you say), why didn't you buy an e63,for example ? OH wait yeah that's rigth,beacause it's not as good at multimedia.So since bouth you and I seem to agree HTC's ChaCha,for example(and yes I hate the facebook button as well),is better at multimedia and you paid so much money for multimedia why would you buy the nokia ?
Also the ChaCha is cheaper,go figure... and just be clear even the lamest manufacturers do the telephony part well these days what you wanted to say nokia have going for them is reliability ,that said most phones over 100$ are reliable these days...soooo...hmmm...

Did nokia hit it's self on the head or something? The 8 MP fixed focus camera ,as stupid as it sounds(for those who know what a camera is), migth not be something new,for nokia, but a 640 x 480 pixels 2.46 inch screen... wt* ?
does any1 on earth actualy need this phone ?
would it have been so hard to make the e73 film 720p? no!
would it have more profitable to make one good phone that does everything you need instead of one that almost everything u need and one that does lots of stuff you don't need,has stupid camera but films 720p ?
no!
will 'smart' people still buy it ?

Im cureent user of E71 and it is a good phone. I was seriouslycontemplating to upgrade to E6 but the camera is a big let down - full focus and no macro.It is sad that NOKIA could omit these basic features..just giving an 8mp camera with poor capabilities.Otherwise the phone is superb..just my thoughts on the E6.

TO THE PEOPLE WHO CONDEMN NOKIA:
Nokia is the most practical phone out there. I have always said that Nokia always put telephony first then multimedia etc. after. Other manufacturers have long forgotten about the most important thing...telephony and telephony features...and focus on other areas like camera, music player and of late social networking. Just look at HTC's ChaCha. It'a all about Facebook. Why would someone want a phone with Facebook integrated everywhere in the phone???

My apologies. I double check the 'Specifications' link just now and I didn't see the SAR value. It was there previously but GSMArena removed it...for what reason I don't know because the value they published is the same value that sar.nokia.com states.
Forgive my remarks about the "baby" statement. We are all here to learn.

To find out the SAR value of any Nokia phone, go to sar.nokia.com. As simple as that.
What is even more simple is clicking on the 'Specifications' link below the photo of the E6 on the left side of this page.
Do some of you people need everything to be handed to you like a baby???

i just bought this cool gadget but why the CPU just 192MHz in X-plore 1.51 device info and didnt mention about the accelerator and other stuffs and not like these specs : CPU 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, 2D/3D Graphics HW Accelerator with OpenVG1.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0???
thats why its still slow as E72.

why would nokia make a good symbian device(and that too long lasting) when after some time they wud want to sell phones with windows OS ?

I am having a problem with the battery, I think it is from the WLAN, although I turned it OFF, but it keeps searching, also, I put the WLAN SEARCH as USER DEFINED, still it keeps searching, that is why the battery won't last more than 1 day :((((, Anybody having the same problem? Concerning the camera, I really dont care about the autofocus. Other then that, it is combination of a BB, and a touchscreen/ iPhone, I like it. I used to have a BB 8520, Nokia is much better, you can't really compare these two mobiles. My advice, wait for the BB 9900, if the touchscreen is as sensitive as the Nokia, then buy the BB, if touchscreen is same as the BB Torch, then buy the Nokia. Ciao!!

i use E5 for quite a while its very nice to use and battery last for a long time as i can see 14hrs talk time but in E6 last 15hrs...and almost with big proccessor i would prefer E6.

E6 really really really rockszzzzzzzzz......!!!
Its 680mhz processor performance is durafic n outstanding...
Its too comapared wid n8,e7 n all others does...
But this is non n other than E6 nthg else to say abt it....
