You write a conclusion from your belief? Tell me which E series phone did you use? I used E71, now using E72. My brother uses E70, My dad used E90, E61. My boss used E61i & uses E63 and so on... I've seen a lot of E series phones and none of the users complained about the sound quality. Yes, it isn't the loudest among the bunch, but it does it's job well. Please, I urge you not to write something just from your imagination.

If you'd know all the answers, then the word questions wouldn't be in the dictionary. Now, to your question, yes, you can work without using the touch screen most of the times. You see, there is a small thing in the middle, called cursor, you can go into directions with it. you can even select by pressing it horizontally. But maybe to cancel or go back you need to use touch as there is no soft-keys available (two keys above the call-end keys, below the display) for this phone. Don't worry, you will get used to it.

But as Nokia is doing for a while, we can certainly hope that the display will be clearly visible under direct sunlight. I use an N85 which has good display, but when I put it into power saving mode, I can't see a thing when I'm outside. Again, my N8 have pretty good view even when I'm outside with the power saving on. So, without using it and experiencing directly, no one can actually predict/confirm about the sunlight legitibility. But we can always hope, can't we?

Can someone please tell me if with the resolution of this phone one will be able to see things clearly in broad day light while in the sun without straining the eyes cos this is possible on Blackberry Bold 4 and i think Nokia should put this into consideration ?

this phone na baba, i can't wait to get my hands on it,i do not need to buy blackberry this phone as every i want, accept pimp but not necessary. more greece to your elbow Nokia rule your world.

Since Nokia says that E6 is so good, why is it that they never tell us the sound of the ringtone is how many decibels ?? I believe E series phone ringing sound is very soft & many times i could not even hear my phone ringing or feel it vibrating in public places.Hence i always got many missed calls & messages come in i did not even hear it. N series phone is much better.
If u really want to buy this E6, please try the live set in Nokia Shop before buying lest u regret it.

[deleted post] well it's depends on how patient can u be to wait for the E6 to come to ur area, if it's already available then it is wise to test both E6&7 and see which fits u best.
some ppl like their phone to be bigger, fastest, eye candy, practical of every day usage, for bussines or simply for net browsing. So u belong to which categories my friend?

An upgrade to E72? Come on, a phone with a fixed-focus camera belongs in the 90s, thanks to such "brilliant" design decisions Nokia has become the end-of-life company it is now...

Yep i am buying this,hanging onto my e72 for now till this arrives..I am selling my black e72 buying a bronze one.I hope this has the switch function between buiness and pleasure app.

So far I love everything I see of this device, but there is going to be a serious challenge as to getting it in Canada or anywhere in North America, with popularity of Android devices especially. Carriers are going to be reluctant to adopting this device as a product offering, and it doesn't help Blackberry is also releasing around the same time it's new Bold 9930. So what I encourage those who want this device to do, is promote it to your carrier and tell them how much you like it or need etc. maybe even go to Nokia's YouTube channel and share the links of the videos so they can see it for themselves. This will also show there is still need qwerty keyboard style bar phones, since the most popular is touch screen...oh wait a minute this has a touch screen too! it can do both! So Telus, if you read this add this to your line-up as the replacement to the E72 you were carrying.

I'm currently using E72 and I'm really finding it very hard to change cos there is no much from E72 but wt this E6 specs I'll have no choice than to step up, but nokia should try and increase the Processor speed and the RAM. The screen 640 by 480 will be superb and I'm really looking forward to buying this phone
