Hey thanks for the quick response. Portuguese from Portugal is similar but not that much. The difference is greater than that of Britsh English vs. American English.

But I've just heard that N80 is coming so i'll probably go for it despite the amazing-but-not-so-impressive-as-E60's-screen. LOL.

        Chuck,
My E60 is Western European version, and it has Potugal language, as well as Portugal T9 dictionary.

Greetings everyone. I'm in Brazil and Nokia has currently no plans to bring this great phone here. They will, however, bring the E70. Along these lines, i was wondering if it is possible to grab the Brazilian-Portuguese T9 dictionary (and possibly other regional custom features) from some other N-series or E-series phone and upload it to the European E60. Does anyone know the answer! Thnx in advance!

Goto Menu | Tools | Settings | Phone | General | Predictive Text change to ON, I believe default is Off.

An Excellent business pone with features that are nothing short of perfection. the only downside is low sound quality, not really helpful when outdoors.

                  @ Wil

I understand the need for phones without cameras, but your second point doesn't really apply to THIS one.

The E60 is one brick of a phone. When I held it in my hands it was comfortable and quite nice, but still nothing small and compact.

Nokia is doing good in realizing that business phones really don't need a camera.

this handset is so efficient and the wi-fi syncronization is second to none

For those who wonder why anyone would want a phone without a camera...

                        1. Because some of us work in buildings where cameras are not allowed. Therefore, you can't bring your phone to work. That sucks.

                        2. For those of us who don't care to take pictures with a phone.

                        3. For those of use who want the phone to be as small and as light as possible and also fall into category #2.

I've been waiting FOREVER for a camera without a phone. Finally!

I wish they'd just take the 6233 and remove the camera! That would be the ideal business phone and it would probably only weigh about 85 grams!

if you need your (or any) nokia phone to read chinese , u need after market firmware updated, so under your setting u can choose your menu to be chinese(simp/compl) or english(or whatever language u will need), and also theres another option under that which u can set your default if u want to type in chinese or english)i have done this to lots of my nokia phones and it works perfectly.

Export set is available now, just got it yesterday. I actually had E61, but was looking for another phone for my second. I'm very happy with both of these phones so far.
E60 will be more popular becos of its size compare to E61, although E60 is still bigger than a normal bar phone. But then having a big screen, should not compromise for a small keypad, therefore nokia give it a decent size keypad. Highly recommended phones.

If your having problems with battery life try changing the phone from Dual mode(GSM/WCDMA) to GSM only. Go to Menu/tools/settings/network and switch from Dual Mode to GSM only. I had the 24hr battery life problem too until I changed this setting and now it lasts me 3-4 days.
