I finally figured out how to clear the e-mails in e-mail account. One has to log on the internet either via wifi or GPRS and clear the e-mails in your server or on your server in order for them to clear. One can not delete them from the phone. I don't know why they did it this way. Really odd way of doing things. Why won't they just let you erase or delete them from your e-mail account in your inbox?? The new internet browser is really good though when compared to the older versions. I am quite happy with the new internet browser. Battery life has been average so far. If you use Bluetooth headset with this phone then your battery life won't be getting you very far. I keep an extra battery with me and that helps.

Hi, is there any difference between the E61 and E60 besides the battery capacity (E61 wins), Qwerty Pad (E61) and Screen (E60 wins).
Seems like the only advantage that E61 has is the keypad but prices for E61 is higher than E60? Doesnt make sense to me. Is there something im missing?

Here is one of the problems that this firmware may have or Bug as you may call it. The Inbox from the e-mails once downloaded can not be deleted from the Inbox folder of the E-mails received. I tried Marking them all and then deleting them and also tried one by one and that did not work either. On the POP3 Server I can receive e-mails but can not send e-mails using GPRS. Finally got GPRS Working today after the technician spent 30 minutes playing with the default settings trying to get them set up properly. We spent nearly 2 hours trying to delete the e-mails received and trying to set up the e-mails for sending but were unable to do so.

I just bought this phone in Dubai last night. The phone is great with an awesome screen. A bit slow to start though. Two problems I am having now is that the phone won't go online using GPRS and I can't get the WLAN to work. Any inputs from anyone?? I bought the phone new for 1125 Dhms. Divide by 3.67 and you get the U.S.D. price.

Just got my E60, it's great! The screen is gorgeous, and the 'shadow' display of the full Web page while you're moving the pointer across the screen while browsing is a remarkable feature. My only niggle is that the manual is printed in tiny, tiny type. If a camera had been included this would be my perfect phone but it's pretty darn good anyway.

Does anyone know if you can turn off the GSM capability when using this as a WiFi phone? e.g. to avoid interference with electrical equipment.

lancester,
i agree with you, a touchscreen would be great (i used a palm 'till the display starts dying now). but for acceptable size and weight phones with ts often lack numeric keys for dialing and i hate touching screens with my butter-fingers :-) therefore i prefere thin phone with full keyboard and a navi-stick. but for me best would be large ts with and for phoning a small number pad ... but thats my very special gusto :-)
And to all the guys who insist on an camera:
as a business phone the e60 (as the e61 too) is also (mostly?) addressed to companies which will not pay 100-200$ more for a phone to give their employees the ability to shoot holiday pictures... on the other hand, if a camera is needed for business purposes, a separate camera would fulfill this task much better.
show me a phone with the business functionality of the e60 WITH a camera for 350€ (=ca 450$, that's a price in germany) and i'll buy it.
