Hi,
I'm a happy owner of the E61 now for a week and i'm still impressed. The size & handling is much better than expected. it takes some time to get familiar with the keyboard, but then it's quite good. just two things are less than perfect:
- openening a large pdf (6mb) leeds to "not enough memory"-error (no other apps open, not much installed). i am a symbian rookie, but i think, the devices internal memory is not fully usable as system operation ram. ??
- the device looses wlan connectivity depending on the way i hold the device. seems, that the antenna is installed on an inappliciable place somewhere under the keyboard...
my opinion to the e61: highly recomendable, many features for few money

I started using the E61 since a month. I recently got Blackberry Connectivity and I am hooked! This is the ultimate phone with all around communication and very easy to carry. Also, not very expensive.

question, E61 owners:
how do i backup the contacts in E61? Nokia PC Suite won't do it. Need to upgrade the firmware one day though... so i need to get all the contacts backed up.

i bought this phone at last!!! phew! can't wait any longer. don't know why, Nokia Singapore is selling this phone relatively cheap. some shops still selling it at S$658 and Nokia is selling it at S$638. maybe wanna sell as much E61 as it could before the release of SE P990? :)
one night time exploration give me a very satisfy result. solid build, and a like the weight :) not too light, but i like it, got the 'feeling' :)
the ringtone when set to max is very loud. on my way back from the shop, i put it inside the phone carton box and carry it with the plastic bag, there was an sms in. i could still hear the sound and feel the vibration!
so far found 1 bug, if i set the sort order in contacts to 'first name - last name', it would return to 'last name - first name' eventually. the firmware dated 19 apr 06.
good job Nokia

this F*$& might need some SSID to configure and if there is a Password set-up on Wireless router the must be entered on the E61 to connect the Planet Internet

I'm looking for a pda-phone, and the E61 looks like a great choice. But before I make my move, does anyone know if the E61 synchronises well with Lotus Notes, like the Calendar, Contacts, & To Do functions? That's real important to me! Thanks!

I really love Nokia E61 at first sight, I decided to buy it without reference any comment and preview from net. But I had a right choice. I sugest who now intending to buy. go nokia shop and buy it now. It's good in design, inteligient keyboard, best connectivity incl wifi, bluetooth, infrared and more. Easy to setup and browse internet with Y5. In comparasion with Sony Er M600i - my wife owns one, it is cheaper but more advantage. Trust me
