Bookmark Manager within connectivity option has a list of options. These actually work in order of priority for e,g On my phone I had Contract WAP as No1. in order , Intranet as No.2 in order and so on. You would need to add a new bookmark called Wireless and have relevant wireless settings. This Wirless should appear in the Bookmark list now.
Click and move the items in such a way so that Wireless comes right at the top as No. 1 on the list. You will see a green tick next to these items when you will be moving them. When you connect the Phone, it will search for Wireless first and then other connectivity option based on the order on the list.
Hope this helps

Does anyone know if the E61 can sort text messages in a thread view e.g. by the person who sent the text? Sort of what the blackberry can do. Or does it store it by date received?

There's a way you can transfer or copy your sms from one phone to an other, you copy your sms to your sim card then you can recopy it into the new cell phone. Hope it will work for you.

You can use NOKIA PC Suit to Sync the txt as I can do with my 6630. If you are using a Symbian OS just connect it to PC and do a clean installation of NOKIA PC Suit and it'll install a small application on your cellphone to Sync the txt

Guys, I have a Nokia 6630 with tons of text messages saved on the memory card which is an RS-DV MMC. I noticed that the E61 uses a miniSD slot. Will I be able to take out the card from the 6630 and pop it into the E61 and retain all the info and text messages that are on it?
Or is there another way to move all my messages across?

Can anyone tell me how to get the apps from the supplied card onto a 1gb replacement? The golf game is cool and I dont want to lose it but need more memory.
Great phone, by the way, but my laptop will not recognise that it is connected. Anyone know why this may be?

so unfortunate that PC suite cannot sync my hpone email with my laptop but much better than the plasticky HP 6935. a touchpad screen would be a bonus though.

E61 is coolest phone i ever had. Voip, 3G, wifi etc. However there are bugs i found on this fone..
1. It crashes with no reason sometimes.
2. When you send a text message it takes 2mins for the message 2 be sent this starts to happen after less than a month of texting. It seems theres a memory cache on the messages but theres no way of clearing it or maybe i just dont know how. But i cleared all my messages including the sim but still the same. So far this is the only turn down of E61 for me.
this phone heats up after an hour of talking via voip.

ok thx Max for the response.
for those who want everything touchscreen, radio, camera, wifi, bluetooth 2.0 etc, why don't you be a little patient and wait for SE P990 instead, it's all there. i still stick to E61

The Nokia E61 bad drawbacks like:
1) Big screeen but not Touchscreen.
2) MMS messaging won't be of a value if there is no Camera.

Hi. Actually I haven't purchased this phone yet. Just like you, waiting for the price to cool down a bit ;) In Moscow it's available at $440 already. So I just by posts of real users in forums.
About the heating: Firstly, E61's semi-metal casing provides additional coolage to the device. Secondly, it's much bigger than E60. So I think there's better ventilation anyway.
