the phone is not touch screann so it can be a solid phone just like a blackberry like a 8700
no camera no touch screen is a good thing
if you have a blackberry and you use this phone you will never let go of this phone
the camera on 3 n80 kills the battery and when youre in business battery life time is important
the screen is protected stay away from toutch screan it's to easy to dammage
thats the advantage of 99.9 % of symbian phones the screan is protected
this phone has no hot swap for security reason
and if they put a camera on this one better be less than 2 mp

thx Max for the response.
how about the warm up issue while transferring data via wifi? does that happen in E61?
well.. plan to get E61, still waiting for the price to cool down a bit.

NO! It's not like that with E61, cause it has 1500mAh Accu. and E60's has only 900mAh! + E60's display has greater ammount of pixels which IMHO also takes more batt life.

Hello guys,
After a much research i finally made up my mind on E61 and boy am i so happy. I just LOVE this beauty..touchwood!
First of all i would like to thank all of you guys who gave their opinions in the forum section which really did help me. I'm kind of a picky guy and things don't make me happy easily but i cant find enough words to praise this phone.
The best thing i like about this phone is the bright and awesome screen and I've always loved the way things are organised in nokia phones. The navigation through the software is pretty easy unlike those motorola phones and another good thing about this phone is the keys which are well apart (unlike that Treo 650..boy keyboard is a mess!)
Okay about people who might be a little confused about this phone not being a touch screen. I was too but believe me you dont want to go with touchscreens once you have this phone. Its just soo easy without holding that stylus and tapping on the screen. Its way way fast typing from this keyboard, thanks to Nokia for this wonderful layout. The keys on the keyboard are square shaped and bulge out which makes it very easy to type.
Oh how did i forget about the battery life. Its UNBELIEVABLE!!! Even with over 1 hour of continuos MP3 music i lost only 1 bar out of 7 bars on screen. How can you top that and without music or any video graphic content, this beauty goes on and on and on.
The loud speaker is amazing for songs and even for talking while on call. Superb mike on the phone.
WLAN setup is very easy and its fun to go online for free at places like Panera Bread for free! hehe.
The phone is pretty handy in nature and doesn't feel bulky at all.
Automatic answer to a call after 5 sec when using handsfree is a nice feature as well.
This phone is bundled with features and you'd love it all the time without worrying about battery time left on phone.
Boy, I've never ever written a review as big as this and you might guess how happy i am with this phone.
cheers!

Has anyone tried converting VCD or DVD to play on E61? I am wondering what would be the configuration on Nokia Multimedia Converter that would have the best display on E61. I have 1GB miniSD, so, size would not be the problem.
Or are there any other freeware tools available?
Thanks all.

i just read the E60(yeah E60) review part 2 at www.mobile-review.com
can the E61 owners kindly confirm whether the following quotes are true for E61?
"First, during WiFi usage battery life drains ultimately fast, battery on the whole is a weak part of this device. We are speaking about active mode, when data is transferred. In case you simply turn on WiFi and not use it, battery life will not be affected on the whole. Second, handset heatens up a lot during data transfer."
"Shortly after 15-20 minutes of a call made via VoIP the casing becomes so hot that it stats scorching not only you ear but the palm as well."

ok, i got your point because s60 has more applications than the UIQ, but for me, it's just much easier to navigate with TS than that little "mouse" button :) Well, i hope nokia using UIQ for the next e6*-series.

After using it for 2 days, here are my short comments.
Pros:
- good price (at last nokia made something worth it price)
- superb business tools
- easy to use
- 3g umts data speed is excellent (well.. anyphone with 3g is having a better speed than gprs/edge though ;P)
- no camera (waiting for this so long)
- not "that" heavy
- wide screen
- good battery life, comparing to those HTC's.
- multitasking...and that's what PALM and samsung should learn a lot.
Cons:
- No Touchscreen (what's wrong with TS, nokia?).
Like to hear from others...:)

The honeymoon is over.
When I first got the phone I was very impressed however as I get to know it better I find the phone to have many software bugs in the area of wireless and blackberry connectivity. Eg software deleting access points, blackberry being disabled, unable to change some settings like the message indicator light, VOIP does not work.
If they can sort out these bugs before it damages the reputation it will be a great phone.
