Can this device run UMTS on the american networks? It is a nice device. The speaker isn't all that loud though and it's a bit hard to center the speaker on your ear since there are no bumps or anything on the phone so you can "feel" and center the speaker on your ear.

Hey all.
Does anybody here own an e61i who upgraded from an e61 or e70? If so, how would you compare the speed on the internet over wi-fi?

@francis: There is no official Skype or MSN client for S60. However there are a lot of third party apps. Check my review of the most popular ones to choose:

I've just got my E61i a week ago. Can someone advice me how and where to download skype and messenger. Thanks in advance.

its not at all expensive for the features it has... and its worth every penny.... look at sony ericsson p990... all rubbish products but costly than this one.... i got mine today.. its simply superb....india - Rs.19500 from nokia priority

Friends, I bought this phone yesterday, but feel the pinch of USD 500 I spent on it. All over the world its selling around USD 360 to USD 400, but here in Indonesia it costs USD 500. Very Very Very expensive. And I was surprised to see scratches, and bad finish on the product. I checked 4 units at Nokia showroom. All of them were having one or the other kind of scratches on the Phone. How is Nokia doing QC. How in Indonesia they kill the customer with high price and bad product. I feel cheated. I miss Nokia products made in Finland. Made in China, I am very very dissapointed.

Hi alaba, as per my previous comment in which i said that Web won't save images like Services does: it seems to me that opening web pages with a .jpg extension will save the image for you. I believe this is why it works when viewing the full size image on google image search. That help?

E61 has 3G but not camera then how we use 3G calling can anyone tell me plz......

Web browser for normal html website and services for wap site.
I have both P990i and E61i. The keyboard is good over the P990i. but on P990i, it is little bit esiar to typing. camera quality is 100% better than P990i on the daylight. web browser is same as like the pc version and it's more comfortable than touch-screen. and after 2months use of E61i and 8months use of P990i, I'm planning to sell P990i.

but the the problem is this do understand that there is two kind of browser on the e61i,the 1st is the WEB the second is SERVICES,on the web is it possible for me to save objects the way i can do on the 9300i.i know that of the services is easy but am so particular on the web.pls comfirm to me bcos now i uses a nokia e61 and i find it very difficult to save pictures i like on the web pages.

i have a problem in my new mobile phone E61i which is the following: the mobile cant call contacts from the clendar page i have to go to contacts and call each 1 which is available in other mobiles.The only thing that i need is to find some 1 that may tell me a way or a software which is very useful for me and may solve my problem.

I have both E-61 and E-61i. Was going to sell the E-61, but I like it too much. The 61i IS faster on the web and I like having the camera.
OK... someone was asking how to save pics when browsing.
in OPTIONS pics can be saved. If you want to take a screen capture like you can do on a MAC or a winblowz machine, get "SCREEN SHOT for SYMBIAN OS (S60) version 2.60. It's freeware and it's a great little app.

hi everyone,
i am currently using an SE p990i. Its satisfactory but has ram issues and the keyboard sucks.
i like how the e61i sounds on paper but have a few concerns,
1. web browsing is very easy with a stylus, tap, scroll etc. is it easy on the e61i as well? (i hear something about a mouse pointer)
2. is the camera and sound quality atleast as good on the e61i as it is on the p990i?
3. how difficult is the transition from symbian uiq3 (touch screen based) to s60?

You can use GPS but you will have to have a separate bluetoth GPS reciever because E61i doesn't have one. I'm planing to get one for myself also.
