Why cant you have FM on this set. Why is it that Nokia will ignore such an important feature in such a good phone.

Hello Everybody.
I am right now using O2 Mini S XDA.
Can anybody advise me to replace with Nokia E61i. Is it good bad or equal decision, has anybody done this. If he is satisfied. Reply me your decision will be usefull for me.

ived been using the phone for half a year now and are there anyone out there who is having problems with their mouthpiece? mine works then sometimes not..

I wanted to have it checked but then again what if it doesnt show off its problem? =(

hi alL!
with e61i's built-in email app, could you attach any files? With 5500 I couldn't attach any files, just several predefined files. With N95 I tried, i could attach any files. How bout the e61i?

Thanks.
Really the program is better than that small thumbnail in original Nokia environment.
But is there a way to remove that large textbox? I tried to select small font, no title - it just stays there. Is it removable at all?

To mike:

I guess this phone has a light sensor.
As far as I searched for it, it might be that LED light at the top left corner.
If the phone detects that lighting is enough, it does not turn on the keylight. When it's dark, the keys light.
I think You can switch this off, but I did not search for it.

Hi everybody, I've bought this smartphone 2 days back. No need to say, this is great. It has good utilities but I'm looking some good apps.

1=> I need a ebook reader, pdf reader shows in small font and if i see in zoomed then I've to scroll to read complete line.

2=> I'm trying to install smartmovie but it says either date is expired or not supported. I've changed date to year 2006, online verfication: off, signed certificate: off but still it shows same problem.

3=> I want to use internet through my laptop's broadband connection.

After almost two months of analyzing phones I ordered this one.
So, far it has exceeded my expectations.

Long battery, good sensitivity. great Business applications.

Running gmail with IMAP and Skype are definitive a plus.

Its been a couple of weeks since I receive it and only one instance when I needed to reboot it. (Probably caused by me)

Camera and Video barely used, although found it very simple to operate.

Great Business communication device

Expired Certificates

Hi, Try using the Search option firstly , has you will find that this is a very common and frequently asked question,

First think to do is;

Menu>Tools>Application Manager
then press button, select ,
enable all software installation and disable online certif. check.

If that does not fix the problem,then it seems by just changing the date on your phone to 2006 it will allow you to install the themes,then just reapply the correct date afterwards.

Well, it says that the certificate is expired when I try to put that Full Screen Caller inside my phone. Any ideas?

Thanx ppl. I found a good looking leather pouch at Carefore, the type that is fixed to the belt and rotates as well.. now its in safe keeping... thanx to all..

I downloaded Windows Live Mobile for this phone and it works great. It WILL change your mailbox settings to your HOTMAIL account if you allow it to. Otherwise, its a great way to keep online with IM. What is not so good is that MS is threatening to charge for the services. :( Fring (another symbian program) offers the same capabilities plus Skype and Yahoo Chat capabilities. You will lose the Hotmail capability, but hey, its free. ;)
