Great News! Nokia is planning to release a the E71. The Nokia E71 is the successor to the Nokia E61/E62/E61. It has the same form factor and a QWERTY keyboard. However, it is much smaller and is black! Check out this link:

i found e61i as a wonderful handset that i never used , it helps me lot in my office needs , but i cant teke printouts directly from the phone.

is a perfect phone for symbian ..but i can't enter on internet with wlan .when i try ..i reacive this mesage ..."no gateway reply"..why??

To Abed, yea E61i and E61 are basically about the same. Personally i prefer to get a better camera phone (more than 2mp) If possible, it would be good to upgrade to E90.

hello people. can anyone tell me if the volume is good on that phone? is the sound higher than the Sony Ericsson P990 or is it lower?

Thanx alot Sam. Your the man. The GPRS service is too low for an email + it doesnt have the speed of a Wlan internet. This phone is for business, but however am a pilot in Royal Jordanian and I sitll love this phone :).. Happy new year and thanx again man ;)

So if it's a business phone, then it's okay to have a below average camera?
I love my phone but I'm waiting for a sequel with a better camera, GPS, and stereo speakers, I'm sure Nokia can fit those :)
Question all you wise guys: What's a business phone and how many of you are business men? (you can check your email from any mobile phone with GPRS as far as I'm concerned!).

hi all,
ive been using this unit for 8 days now, and i gotta say its great.
ringing volume is high enough, so u dont miss a call or an event.
software is nice and stable.
the battery life is good (approx 3 days).
what i need is a software to help increase the call quality volume through the units speaker as for motorola P2k software to gain tables, anybody with a solution or idea is welcome. thnx

Lovely phone, feature rich..
For those who find some faults in the phone..
1.Upgrade firmware from nokia.
2.As for Radio,install 3rd party software for internet radio.
3.For ppl who think camera is has bad quality and compression prob: set image quality to high, and ppl nokia made this as a bussiness phone so please dont compare with sony and other picture models,its not a digital camera!
3.You can download from torrents,read adobe files,manage doc files,Use win live messenger (other messengers also work),watch movie's horizontally!,Export sms's,print direct images to printers etc. some of the above feature are something which nokia didnt supply ,its 3rd party softwares.
4.Download to Memory card.
And ppl it dosné support 4Gb card by me,it can become terribly slow even if it does some how.(upgradiblity is only to 2GB)
5.Attach a music edition headphones and you get a music Xpress E61i, with all functions of any other Music edition phone.
Still someone has some Doubts, plz post, I can help.

Camera is terrible by the way. I have tried a Samsung phone with a 0.3 MP camera which takes better shots. Terrible shutter lag and too heavy compression. I don't know if a future firmware upgrade can improve this??

Khalid, E61i I guess. Except for the camera and GPS, E61 is better in everything, better keyboard, better screen, better office applications, better materials, amazing battery life. Besides, everyone in the universe has an N95 and most have gone back for repair!
