I know this is a business device but it does not hurt to have a little pleasure. Can someone tell me how to run YouTube videos on this device. Will Smartmovie do the trick?? Secondly I will give whoever can correctly figure out what "dual CPU" means (as stated in the tech specs for this device in forum nokia) a year's supply of mars bars. It is possible that they are saying the device has two CPUs both running at 220MHz; one dealing with telephony and the other handling the Symbian system. Conversely the two processors may be running at different speeds. Nokia may have given the speed of the faster of the two. Somebody out there must know the answer!!

Sankalp: The sound quality is very good. I installed LCG Jukebox and listen to the radio quite regularly. I think the sound quality is very good for a smartphone. It may be better than my Axim. I have not installed any MP3 as of yet. The ringtone quality if outstanding.

I purchased the E61i after extensive search on the web. I have owned the phone for about three weeks now. I have a TMobile MDA and Dell Axim X51v. I was looking for a smartphone/PDA phone that was smaller than the MDA and have always liked Nokia products. This smartphone did not disappoint! I was use to the Windows Mobile 5.0 and I had to get use to the Symbian, but I like it! It seems to run faster than Mobile 5.0 and does not hang up like Windows does. I have not purchased a microSD card; however, I have some pretty sizeable apps installed and it does not appear to slow down the smartphone. My main requirement was that it sync with Outlook. It does an outstanding job! I like the feature of being able to chose which way you want to sync or both. Mobile only allows one way sync. I have not set the phone up to use on my Enterprise Server (direct push) as of yet. The camera takes awfully good pixs, too.

Hi folks, am planning to buy a new phone with qwerty keyboard and Nokia e61i is my first choice. Apart from all of its regular features I would like to how is the music performance of this phone. I just can't do without a music player and it should be of decent quality. Please guide me...

was just kiding i've been useing this phone for like last 5 months and all i can say about this phone is that its one HELL of a phone... i would say that everyone should go for this phone and trust me u'll love it...

Sorry one more thing Raul, I too find TotalVideoConverter to be perfect among few programs i have for conversions. You have right choice.

Raul resize video in TVC to 320x240, it does not effect the quality but 50percent memory is saved. Also i use crop setting (top/bottom) in TVC to remove black bands.
Which is the best setting to match lip movement with sound? Is smartmovie options/sound setting helpful for this lip-sound match? Thanx

I just converted Transformers.2007.DVDRip.XviD-FLAiTE using Frame Rate 28 frames/s and Bit Rate 500 kbits/s ....it is almost perfect (for pefectionists :)....sweeeeeeeeet..
All you E61i users enjoy these settings....beautiful almost perfect image...

Solved my video converting problem...
For conversion I am using Total Video Converter witch is a free software (I don't even remember where I found it on the web).
New task..Import new file..
Output format..(second row - Ms Avi) select Divx/Xvid AVI - Divx Mpeg4 Avi
Profile...select Divx high quality
Settings:
Audio option...only modified the Bit Rate 128 kbits/s..and if you want ..the sound level
Video option...video codec - mpeg4...Frame Rate - (20-25)...Bit Rate - 450 kbits/s...
Video Resize ...don NOT modify a thing... leave it on Original size.
Convert now..and play the movie with Smart Movie or DivX Player...because it will not work with the integrated Real Player.
PS: the only 2 things you may need to play with (in case you think the lips movement is not synked with the sound or maybe something else...) are Frame Rate (20-25) and Bit Rate (I tried it with 450 but you may work more on it..post if you think is perfect ..I will when I find the perfect combination) in Video options.

i am very best users of nokia mobile .
this set has a best talking time.
picture quality is good.
font size is very large.which helps alot

Raul i convert movies to 320x240 from original size, with a top/bottom crop setting. I manage to remove black bands, the picture quality is okay, but your Q of elongation still remains. It gets bit elongated. May be some mathematics is required to solve the prob... Try try.. If u find tell me..

shaad go with E61i. Treo 750 is very slow. Pocket PC makes a pretty bad phone interface. I used to have HTC TyTN, sold it later to get E61i. Symbian and E61i combined make a good phone together and give you decent functionality of a smart...
