Go ahead, you'll love it. Even I had the same colour but my son took it away from me forcing me to buy E71. He is happy with it.

there is another prob. When you install an app in the phone it keeps a track of it throughout till it is uninstalled. You must have changed the card without uninstalling the progs. So under the new condition when you switch the phone it is looking for the app and trying to install it. But not being able to find it ultimately it gives up and proceeds with the task ahead. This is what is happening with you. The solution is what Viz has suggested.

Hello. I intend to buy a E63 within a week or two.
All I want is the phone to look classy and sophisticated in my hand because we all know such things make one hell of an impression. I don't care for the music nor am I a Photo Clicking Junkie.
I just need a suggestion regarding the color..
Black or Red???
I have already read about the 'Its like going out with girl of my choice' but i really need suggestions from current owners..

Hi....I bought an E63 a month back but still unable to set-up my personal e-mail in it. I have only been able to set up my gmail ID but whenever I try to connect it, its says "packet data required/packet data not available." owever, my GPRS is ok and I use internet without any problem.
The phone dealer could not solve it, and the Vodaphone customer service in B'lore is of no use.....Please help.
BTW: I have a prepaid Vodaphone connection

By far, one of the best business phones that I have used. I earlier used E71. Features are almost same as E71 but at a much cheaper price.
E-mailing, sound, user-friendly all these features are great though the camera is crappy but its a business phone so don't really want to use the camera too much.
I have it since 6 months and the phone has barely hung up. I prefer the red version - black and blue are just ok.

When u changed the mem card this app/theme needs ur phone date to be back dated to install, but since it is not the app does not install? every time u restart it tries the same thing again. best is go to installations - >app mgr. there u will see some apps which will have the install option. either install it or remove it. that shld fix ur issue.

Hi I have changed the memory card in my phone, now every time I turn the phone on. It try to install some application from old memory card. Any idea how I can stop the phone doing it every time?

Hi,
I am using an E63 with an AirTel connection for the past one month. The problem is under some tower the phone will not catch the signal. Even with manual search we can’t catch signal. If we try manual search, the phone will display AirTel but when we try to connect, it will show “Access denied”. I experienced same problem with another AirTel SIM also. So I contacted Nokia care and they sent the phone for tuning and calibration also they upgraded the phone with latest firmware. It took 10 days to complete the repair and even after the service the phone displays same problem. So I tried with another E63, in that also it shows same problem. When I tried the same SIM in many other phones it is not showing any such issues.
What should I do?

Yes it is a very good model and you will not regret buying it if the specs satisfy you. But re-confirm the specs before buying. For colour, ask your girl friend/wife/friend. And then give it a serious thought. If you buy of my choice it would be like marrying a girl of my choice. No divorces allowed till you can afford the next phone.

Previously I was skeptical of this phone's performance regarding Internet connectivity,But surprisingly I am shooked with its performance.I do web surfing on it by connecting it to my Wi-fi,making it a free surfing gadget.
Downloading songs,Videos etc is so easy that I am falling in Love with it.
Battery back up is two full days after a one full night charge.
Unfortunately my Internet radio has stopped working,may be some internal error.I'll get it checked through Nokia care.
The only disadvantage is its speaker quality.I am unable to hear when my phone rings.Even the loudspeaker is not as gud.
Hence its a gud device fr those who need surfing capabilities in their cell but worst device fr those who like music and all.
