Mangesh, 29 Jul 2009E 63 Is very good phone compare to E71. Guys if u have any ... morei cannot here my ringtone when someone calls me, when i put in "normal profile" i cannot here any sound when i watch a video or cannot hear any music when i use my media player. can u help me? plsss thank u

hi,
i just got my nokia e63 and i must say it is the best. i'm just curious about the topmost heading. sometimes the words and letters seem to fade away. like after pressing Menu Tools Modes Home screen applications. the topmost line reads "Home screen applic". the "ation" is faded and hard to read.
is there something wrong with my unit or is it just this way?

You MUST backup your phones contents before updating because the E63 does not have a user protection system
Download Nemesis Service Suite and install - http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/index.php?main_page=page_2
1.Connect your phone and wait for Windows to install the drivers.
2.Open Nemesis Service Suite and click “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window
3.Click on the icon “Phone info”
4.Click on “Scan”
5.Change the product code to [check below for a list] and mark the case “Enable”.
6.Press “Write”, and your phone’s product code will be changed (you might think that nothing happened, because the phone is still in normal mode, and the changing of the product code only takes a couple of seconds, but don’t worry, the product code changed !).
7.Close Nemesis Service Suite and run the Nokia Software Update.
8.Make sure not to touch the cable or the phone while your phone is updating or else you will break it!
9.That’s it! When you restart your phone, it should now be the potentially unbranded and updated
5 Now shutdown Nemesis and open up your nokia software updater again and you have the latest firmware

Hey guys, i stay in Mumbai and now the cost of nokia e63 after the budget has shoot up above 13k. Before it was something Rs 12,300. It's very annoying to pay almost 1k more and get the phone especially when you know it was cheaper before. Do anyone knows from where can i get nokia e63 at 12k range in or around Mumbai.

Am ntarangwi in kenya & want to buy this fone.
1. Is it possible 2 download free antivirus software &install it successfully?
2. In case it falls from a height of 2 metres & lands on a hard surface, can it survive the fall?
3. Is the keypad mat durable, in case it wears out, is it replaceable?
4. Between nk e63 and 5630, which is better?

Does the "ad-54" Media remote work on this phone? It's the remote that plugs into the 3.5mm jack and controls the music player ie has "play/pause" , "forward/reverse" . It's the same one that comes with the N-series and ExpressMusic phones.
So Does it work??

e71 or e63, 20 Mar 2009hi friends i want ur help. i am confused between e71 and e6... moreconvertet from 2.5 to 3.5 is available. E71 is a waste of money as not much is added except the price.
e63 is better choice than e71.

Suggestion for hanging issue.
By default the messages are stored in the phone memory. If you receive too many messages or mails best change the messages storage option to the memory card. Keeping more phone memory means your cell will function better.
Periodically clean up your message box sent items, delivery reports etc.

Im geting the e63 with three on a 19 cap plan.
