Its only extention of E51 bearly enlarging its size and face lift.FP1 and cam without proper flash.Finnish manufacture is doubted as China has been choosen next destination.
Slow in response wifi disconects last site not saved. Price 3 times of E65,whats wrong with their heads, either stop releasing new models with slight cosmetic changes or wait big innovation otherwise repeat same model with improved changes.

Nokia's do and have for some time with their E and N series automatically stopped charging when the battery is full.
This stops you from overcharging the battery and burning it out. The new battery types only require you to charge them till they are full.
A suggestion for Nokia Symbian phones and poor battery performance. Hold down your menu key for 3 secs. This will bring up all applications running in the background chewing up your battery.

Phone_Wizz, 01 Oct 2008When phones are FIRST PURCHASED they need a good 10-12 hour... moreI have charged 10 hrs the first time but it still last only a max of 2 days. This includes not activating applications.

All,
I am not sure what the fuss about this phone. To me it ROCKS...i repeat it ROCKS!!!
Battery life ? it last me 3 FULL day of average use. First 2-3 charges it drains off fast but gradually after 5th charge it comes up to 3 days!!! Compare to HTC touch etc, you cant complain much on battery consider this is a business phone.
VERY STATISFIED & Proud owner!!!

I bought a new E66, couple of days back. I must say a nice looking phone. BUT right now not a worth buying phone at all. Loads of disadvantage taking as battery (not at all 7 hrs but just 4 hrs talktime). Has got a lot of problems. Multiple messaging is veri slowww. ohh god. Like hell. Network reception is also very weak. Face network problem in areas where the network is strong too. Can compare practically. SO IN SHORT I AM DISAPPOINTED. SORRY NOKIA E66 MAKERS. I didnt like it..

hawaiianflight, 28 Sep 2008Hey poisonuseangel, I see you mention about the poor batte... moreWhen phones are FIRST PURCHASED they need a good 10-12 hour charge when you first buy the phone. Without that first charge you are bound to get battery life issues. Trust me i experience this problem EVERYDAY with customers

Hey poisonuseangel,
I see you mention about the poor battery life of your Nokia E66. Are you aware that when a battery is new it needs about 4 or 5 charges to completely reach its potential operating levels. If you've just very recently purchased this handset, the problems you are experiencing with poor battery life are perfectly normal. You should find the battery life improves after a few more charges. Try to charge overnight with the handset off. This enables the handset to charge uninterrupted and to maximum capacity. Remember too that unlike Ni Cad or Nickel Metal Hydride batteries, Lithium batteries don't like to be completely drained to empty and have no memory effect. To ensure longetivity of your battery(s) ensure you recharge them before they drain too low - say 20% or "one bar" minimum. Nokia is an excellent manufacturer and the E66 looks to be an awesome handset. May it give you great enjoyment and may my input have helped alleviate any concerns you may have held.
