Battery time averages 2-3 days. When I did leave it on standby save for an hour of net sessions and several text messages it lasted 5 days. So far still happy with it.

Well the battery time is not good, that's the most bad thing about this device. Other than that it is flawless! If you the camera is not that considerable addition than this is the best phone you can have, sleek, stylish, full of application and above all Symbian!

Let the battery run empty on a few occassion and then make shure that you charge it. Normally the battery should last for about 2 days (incl use).
For those people thinking about buying an E66, sorry not longer, but you can`t compare mondern phones anymore with the older models were calling and sms were there. This phone has an operating system and multy tasking, just like a computer it costs for such to process.
Have mine since november last year, very happy with it.

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2009Nokia is always very bad go for samsung or SEE66 works fine no problem at all and just like all others a great phone from Nokia. The only one that might be as good is the Samsung i8510.
Let us not talk about Samsung or SE, have had a few of those also, only decent Samsung was the D500.
Anonymous, most lickely doesn`t even know what he or she is talking about. Good responce to a Q asked by somebody looking for help. Advice to by one of those 2 brands.

1-how can make it silent?

Gabs, 26 Apr 2009Hi. I have E65 since almost 2 years now and I'm pretty sati... moreI had E65 about a year ago, but I changed to E66 and I'm pretty comfortable with it. It's the perfect upgraded version of E65 I think. Better camera, more storage, GPS included, Radio is available, stereo headset, newer firmware version, etc.
So I recommend that you upgrade to E66. Note that after you bought it, it's better that you upgrade it's firmware via Nokia Update Software, so it's battery life will extend a lot!

Upon a full charge, my E 66's battery doesn't seem to be able to last more than 12 hours.Just normal usgae of sms-ing and calls, no wi-fi nor gps.Why is that so?
